I think Lucario’s counter does the same KB regardless of the damage of the move, it’s only dependent on his percent and the other characters percent.

Yeah the counter is based purely off of his aura, it doesn't matter if he counters warlock punch or a megaman pellet it'll do the same damage regardless.

All counters that have set KB that don’t scale to the initial attack: Peach/Daisy Lucario Greninja Bayonetta Incineroar (Technically only the attack, the revenge scales tho) Joker (Same as incineroar, Arsene does scale tho)

@@2350CST "Counters" without hurt boxes shouldn't count. I'd call those moves "absorbs" because they absorb the damage but don't deal damage on their own.

@Zaire Johnson He's not terrible, just weak. Predictably approachable, you can easily read him because what he's good at is hitting you. Knowing that you can bait a strong attack and punish. He needs more tools to actually be useful, i played him competitively and a lot of people were surprised because i would kick their ass, sadly, i couldn't compete with the higher level players when they pulled out characters like Ken and characters that kill early as Lucario, Hence my secondary Character is Joker, exactly to deal with the Terrible matchups lucario has. Notice i didn't say "bad" matchups because 80 - 90% of his matchups are bad lol, but on the terrible ones i switch to Joker.

@lanky Kong, I wouldn’t say that completely, since lucario’s aura sphere is one of the few projectiles that does damage while charging, which put the ROB into hitstun to pull off the combos

Yes its true on certain percantage and its very useful since it makes back air easier to confirm out of the charge jump cancel(cjc) on lower percentage but you need some aura to pull it off and on higher percentage just go for cjc back air instead of double cjc or Just cancel into upsmash cus its also true out of aura hitbox on high percentage starts at 114 on 4 frame airdodge chars and 125 on 2 frame
