YES!!! Please make more videos like this, whenever possible. It was SO FUN to watch your process and actually see you enjoying it, explaining all the changes and creative choices in the design. To this day, I haven't followed any of your patterns, although I'm obsessed with your style. It's so nice to see crochet designers get rid of the pressure of writing patterns and literally just... Crocheting. Thank you for this insight on your process. Can't wait to watch what you create next. ♥️

What a treat for the eyes and the imaginative creativity in my head. I am so happy for you to have found an avenue of limitless possibilities that will stretch the boundaries of what you can create out of yarn. I hope you continue to find creative relief in crocheting just for fun without the responsibilities that come with pattern writing. With Midjourney, I expect that we will see some awesome creations come from your wonderful mind for us to make for ourselves at home. Thank you for documenting and explaining the process. I for one was inspired and entertained during the entire video. Take care and crochet on! 💜

WoW, What a Fabulous little friend you did created! I'm soooo in LOVE!!!🥰 I have to say that I feel very blessed to have been invited into what an artist unique like you, create. I think (and that's just a personal opinion, not a judgment! 😉) that people think a lot about themselves when they absolutely ask for a pattern, and we (myself included!!!) should more often think about the artist, the hard worker person who has to go through all those steps ( and its so good that you present some of them, but I know there is a lot more then what we saw!!!) in order to allows crocheters to crochet one project themselves. But, its the artist choice to share, I think its more about that aspect that I wanted to refer... Also, it was so cool for me to see a way (one of them) that you get inspired, to create an all new "never seen" amigurumi to "life" ...Its sure must be hard to explain how you brain function to make an idea go from your brain to your crochet+yarn, and I feel this new application did help that. I was on "aww" to hear you describe your process, all those images you go throught, and especially WHAT captured your attention in it, WHAT you choose to try or not, to keep or not.... Needless to say That I enjoyed so much watching this well done video. I loved that your vocabulairy was simple, yours sentences straight to the point, yours explanations easy to follow and understand. And I love that you felt more free then usual, because you did not had to think "Will it be too difficult to explain? Will I be able to translate what I do in a way that all levels of crocheters will understand and be able to crochet? Please, make that a tradition, a chronicle, a serie. I would like so much to be sure to come back, regularly, knowing that I would have another glimpse into the fireworks of your creativity!!!! And: Thank you so much!!!! For all your hard work, your professionnalism to produce only well put patterns, and extraordinary amigurumis. ps: please excuse the mistakes and the wonky sentences I write, my first language is French, and the only time I get to use English is when I write comment in social medias, or when communicate with people in those social medias....🤗

Wow, what an amazing message thank you so much Chantale! I do feel guilty about designing something without a pattern for those who feel sad - it would be nice if complex patterns were somehow super easy to just churn out 😛 But thanks for letting me off the hook in that regard 😋🥰 making this project was a huge relief even though the video was still lots of work - but nothing compared to a pattern, haha! Thanks for all your positive feedback on those various elements of the video, you totally made my day and I'm super happy you enjoyed it, and of course I'd love to make it a series 😍

this is such a good video, i would LOVE to see more complex designs! Whenever i find a pattern online i also feel limited by how simple they are. Its so hard to put words to certain methods, yknow? Ive been contemplating starting my own youtube channel in THIS EXACT STYLE lol. I dont know if youve heard of her but I was also inspired by dollightful on yt, she does doll repaints. But the method of "not a tutorial" and more for entertainment is so good. Ill share this!!!!
@Projectarian
@Projectarian Год назад
Thanks, I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Yes I love Dollightful too (my Tropical Jungle Cat on my channel was for her contest and she loved it so much that she changed the contest rules for it 😋💖). This vid style is certainly easier than tutorial vids, which I've also done, it just means it's not as useful - but certainly more entertaining, as you say.

I tried midjourney (trial) and it struggled to find images…i.e., when asked to generate “knit owl”, nothing generated. The cost of the app is high…do you find it’s worth $9.99 per week? LOVE THIS VIDEO AND TEACHING! Thank you…you are so talented! Of course, I want to purchase this pattern!!
@Projectarian
@Projectarian Год назад
You need to start your prompt with "/imagine" in order to generate pics 😉 Yes, it's very expensive. I have the highest level subscription in order to enable private mode because I find it very hard to use when you're on a public server, and with the currency exchange rate where I live, it's a lot of money!! For me it's worth it though, because of the multiple different ways I'm using it for my business (it's not just for these videos)

It's great to see an artist integrating ai with their personal practice and using it to assist and inspire them - very refreshing to see after hearing so much anxiety about the technology 🙂 Who knows what's next for us... but it's good to see the usefulness that can come from ai

Thanks! 💗 Yup it's quite a complicated one, which is why there isn't a pattern for it (since I wanted the freedom to make something complex without having to do a pattern), so this is more of a demo of how to think about using MJ for amigurumi 😉

🤩✨ While illustrators are worried that AI will eat all their bread, it is so cool for crocheters. Most work is still left for ourselves to do. I also made several amigurumi from Midjourney's ideas last year and definitely will do it again.
