Writing notes as I watch: 1. The high priced listings are indeed placeholders! They’re already sold out (and discontinued in the case of Sugarock), and would be cancelled. 2. Ordering directly on TB and shipping it to them isn’t much cheaper. Superbuy has very minimal shopping agent fees. It’s like… $1 or so. I do still prefer to do that because I can take full advantage of coupons and GWPs, and there’s no delay of ordering. Sometimes things sell out before a Superbuy agent would get to your order. I know it’s very difficult for some people to get a Taobao account set up, I’ve heard of a lot of issues getting your number verified and what not, so I know sometimes there’s no choice but to have Superbuy order it. I will say in regards to packaging as someone who works at a postal center, sometimes it’s just better to be safe than sorry. You have no idea how many packages arrive damaged after a flight, I have personally had to fix over 50 packages per day some months (looking at you Amazon and BeautyBay). If we’re talking if it’s eco-friendly or not, yeah it definitely is more eco-friendly to have all paper packaging but those also tend to get damaged more frequently so when it comes to international shipments, it’s a coin toss of whether a package arrives damaged or not. It’ll get tossed around, thrown into a bag, thrown into a cage inside the bag, squished by other packages, tossed around on the plane ride, get rained on as it’s moved from the plane and into the airport proper, thrown into a different cage, tossed around once again on the truck-ride over to the distribution center, thrown onto a conveyer and once again thrown into a different cage. Ultimately, a bit of plastic is always gonna be more eco-friendly than the amount of packages that’ll inevitably be returned to the sender and have to go another plane ride. Just make sure to throw all trash in the appropriate recycling bins. It’s just the reality of purchasing internationally, it’s not an eco-friendly process and never will be so if that’s a concern, I’d recommend people seek out local options first and foremost and reduce their international shopping as much as possible.

*edit -oop I see you mention ali! When i found it on there it was under 100 but maybe scarcity is driving the price up! Also, there were other sugarock palettes that were in the 100-130 pricerange. I have contemplated using superbuy or other forwarding services numerous times to get my hands on girl cult, joocye, sugarock etc etc etc but always end up changing my mind at the last second!! I do stalk some of the sites that carry Chinese (& Japanese) brands but never end up going through with it! I have to say, on a whim I went & looked on Alibaba & aliexpress the other day for all the brands I mentioned (plus some) & found them! They actually were selling this exact palette for just under 100 doll hairs! 😮 That really surprised me because I feel like the last time I checked, I couldn't get those brands on Ali! I have to say I don't blame you, this palette is divine & Freya posts so many things that I WANT 😅

I’m in the works of getting palettes from superbuy. I’ve already bought the misty dream narimi palette, and it’s in warehouse waiting to be shipped to me. I’m waiting to ship it. I will this next Wednesday, cause I’m gonna grab a sugarock too, and then have them shipped together. I haven’t located the one you got in stock, sadly, but I did locate a purple one. I haven’t don’t a deep dive yet though. Anywho. Fingers crossed I can get them from the warehouse to my house 😂😂. I’ve already gotten pics of my narimi, in warehouse. So that’s promising. Thanks for the video. It is kinda comforting me to the process. It says it will store my palette for 90 days and I saw where I could start the shipping process, so I think it will work out adding the sugarock to it.

So you are doing what people in the world do in order to buy from brands in the usa that don't ship worldwide 🤣 We use forwarders to ship to, check parcels, consolidate multiple packages etc... Never did it to buy from the asian market in general but good to know theres something available there too. ❤️
