What I find hilarious is when people say Yanqing is weak lore wise because he keeps losing battles, yet he’s really just stronger then 99% of the Xianzhou, he just LOVEES facing that 1% LMFAO

They should rework Yanqing's talent buff to not get removed when an enemy's attack reduces his HP, and his follow-up attack to not rely on RNG. Just straight-up procs a guaranteed follow-up attack if his talent buff is up. That will surely fix Yanqing's drawbacks.
The question is how ? Mihoyo never buff character directly & how they gonna do this with new relics ? Zhongli situation will never happen again . It is special case because he is weak in almost all aspect even as archon character . Unless Mihoyo did something like buff removal immunity in Fate Grand Order then yeah probably it will fix the problem .
This boi get's dunked on in the whole story. But he's def underrated bcs people kinda want jing liu. But the whole hunt line needs rework like eredution. Maybe the hunt can deplete shield much faster for the boss so maybe yanqing can deplete faster. Hell, even sushang can crush shield like crazy
Exactly his follow ups. I have him e1 plus lc but haven't built him cause of his trial. Those follow ups do not proc then you use dr ratio, a free unit, who procs follow ups even on allies turns after his ultimate. Like man 😂
@@ClayMatudr ratio lives on his fup attacks. His main damage source. Yanqing imo is more akin to seele, that mostly uses ultimate, skills and normal attacks as main damage source
Yanqing is a sword prodigy, but unfortunately he only ever faces off againts actual sword saints that is just more OP than him. Anyway, Hunt feels really good at this particular cycle, especially ebon deer you can ignore its summons completely. But i’m a bit pissed that it’s ice weak again, the other weakness is fire, BUT one elite in the first phase isn’t even weak to fire wtf.
As a Yanqing main (and Chongyun main in GI) i see similar problems with fandom. In lore he isn't a bad or weak character (kid who tried solo both DHIL and Blade... I think average Luofian didn't resist 5 second against them), but is fanon punching bag bc "Kafka and Jingliu is soooo attractive mommies and smash everyone". For me, he is fun to play and easily-build (he didn't need massive crit stats to good work). His best supports is Tingyun and Pela (I tried play Yanqing with Tingyun, totally game changer) and Fire MC/March/Gepard (even without recommended Geppy, full tanky MC with Landau Choice LC or cheesy March especially in Remembrance Path doing work well). Yes, he lost his buff after he's attacked, but Silver Wolf is "likable" when she puts random weakness on enemies and better play her in mono teams. Well builded Yanqing is a monster even he's not always trigger follow-up attack. And I love Marina Inoue's voice and drum sound when he makes ult ❤
Yanqing's performance will be a lot better once adventurine arrives. He can apply shield on the whole team with his skill which means it will be a lot easier to maintain yanqing's passive. Unlike gepard that relies on his talent and ult to apply shield and march that increases the aggro of the shielded target.
I love yanqing but time has passed and i don't use him now , he's literally the chars i want between him and bailu. he's pretty helpful. Unlike genshin who can actually make everyone strong with op supports , you can't rlly do that in HSR tbh. you can but the difference is pretty big (between gi and hsr)

I did use him on moc 10 because jingliu bit boring to use, i know she can easily cleat moc but yanqing can also ear it too 🎉 Anyways thank for making a video on our best baby boy ❤
Yanqing seriously carried in early game, even when I had Jingliu. He’s really easy to play and was in every team I made. When I cleared the basic Forgotten Hall, Jingliu did little to no dam cus I had no idea how to build her. So Yanqing once again carried.
i was about to give up on 36 starring when i saw the deer, but i gave yanqing a chance after seeing this video and he actually pulled it off... it was honestly really fun LOL
No literally. E0 with dang heng’s 4 star light cone and he’s insane. I run him with bronya, luocha and sometimes tingyun or Silverwolf. 50k follow up attacks and sometimes 70-80k.
I don't understand why people hate Yanqing. He is one of 3 ice damaga dealers. Herta is erudition so she don't have much damage in sigle target, Jingliu is limited, so getting Yanqing was just a saver for me and it's super easy to build him because of critical boosts from passive
Nah, bro. Don't call him the most hated. He's my son, and I love him! When we all got to make our custom Astral Express tickets, he was front and center on mine! When I got my first 5-star from the Departure Warp, it was him! He was my kingmaker! My Godslayer! It's not his fault that Hoyo made him the way he is. Obsolescence is the fate of _ALL_ Standard Banner characters. As for his lore, he's stronger than almost everyone. He just keeps getting pitted against those select few who are stronger, just like what happens to Vegeta.
The thing i hate about Yanqing (ingame) is how his passive needs him to not be attacked at all, and that limits his sustain options.. And his kit revolves only around crit stat.. Unlike other character that gives other type of buffs..
That's literally what I least like about him. Not even the fact that he can lose his soulsteel sync buff upon taking damage, but the fact his FUA is such a low RNG chance and is super important to land bc of his energy cost issues. Ahhh! Why did they hold him back so much...
They should change the trace for "when soulsteel is active, effect res +20%" to "when soulsteel is active, follow-up attack will guarantee to activate"
In my (not very long) experience, I got him as an off-banner, tried to build him with the ice relic set, rolled Jingliu, put that set on her and she was easier to use and did 50% or more damage. Yanqing is tricky to get the skill / ultimate timing right and he's squishy, but Jingliu combos off her self and has 3 target on (buffed) skill and ultimate. As a semi-casual player, Jingliu is just easier and faster. Honestly, I probably won't build him for a while because for Hunt I would rather build ratio or Sushang first.
hey ik ur dan is in a trainning arc rng but it would be cool for u to use him in this moc cuz his ult dmg look rl insaine a dan max trace at e6: 432%(base dmg) + 129.6%(bonus dmg from slow) x 4(turbulence slow + his skill ) = 950.4% dmg ult which even more insaine with def down from turbulence and this talent so yea cant wait to see u do it
The more i look at yanqing's kit the more I'm like why?...why tf does miyoyo think they had to go this far to nerf the crap out of his potential just cause he gets some free crt value stats. U look at any part of yanqing's kit, and you'll see they did everything in their power to make sure he doesn't stand a chance vs everyone else. He's ult reliant? 140 energy. Passive gives good stats? Removed on hit. Major traces?the worst selection in the game bar none for a dps. hook has better major traces. Hunt path? The 2nd slowest of them. His talent vastly improves his kit's performance due to freeze and extra energy? Low FIXED chance. Like, i don't need em to be the best dps in the game, but this is just lame imo. anyways, at least destruction got included in this moc's buff since they could rly use the help 😑.
I just hate him with a burning passion after getting him twice in a row while having only 2 5 stars. Same with Gepard after losing 2 50/50‘s in a row to him. And don‘t even get me started on Himeko‘s lightcone. God, if I could erase it from the game I would. It‘s still my only standard banner 5-star lightcone. I literally will never use it and I have 3 fricking copies of it, which are all still separate and lvl 1, because I refuse to level this thing up.
The reason why I HATE Yanqing 1. Boss 2. Three types of every sword 3. I DON'T HAVE ANY DPS WIND CHARACTER (Dan heng counts cuz I'm busy at building him)
Got him in my early days, built him, then forget him. even tho mine's e2 lol I know he's decent but still dont really like his playstyle and as for curent buff, he slay moc 12 1st half easily with my e3 ruan mei 💀💀 I used to mad abt not getting jingliu few patch behind but yeah i guess YQ still slaps lmao
Yanqing... oh poor boy. If I hadn't lost my 50/50 to him on Ruan Bae banner, he would've been useful back in 1.0, 1.1 Now tho with Jingliu, he's fodder
The very main problem of Yanqing is when you don't have skill point, he will become shit in the next turn too because losing his buff, so wasted 2 turns in total when that happened.
its not that he's not OP, its the fact that he needs to be babied. He basiccally needs to have a shield on him at all times and consume a skill point to keep his passive active. Compare that to other characters in his class like seele who is extremely sp efficient while doing an insane amount of dmg or even jingliu who literally has the same kit as yangqing but better. AoE instead of single target, can go 3 turns without using up a skill point, can get insane crit rate to dmg ratios and its like "why would i choose someone who i need to basically monitor throughout the entire fight and pray doesnt get hit when i have a character that can deal more dmg, less sp hungry, higher scaling, etc"
yanqing team(s); 1. yanqing, tingyun, bronya, gerpard 2. yanqing, bronya, natasha, fire MC 3. yanqing, dan heng, fire MC, natasha 4. yanqing, serval, fire MC, natasha if you want him to be less RNG on his ulti then use ER% rope, or as some of the teams i listed suggested, use tingyun for her ulti
4th team is my early game team and it's still good. March is good for him too bc she carry him and freeze multiple enemies (yes, I use Remembrance path in SU)

why is he hated exactly? i recently got my 300th on standard banner and got him instead of bronya because i got his lightcone a day before i reached my 300th ps.also i got him because i dont have an ice dps yet
He deal bunch of damage. But with too much rng. People dont understand it, and play him just like other dps, and struggle to play him because he deal small dmg. Hes hurt, but hard to play too. He need to be buffed, atleast his stacks.
@@Valia2899 its mostly due to the setup you have to go through just to get little reward when Jingliu gets the same crit passive but much easier to work around and has higher uptime and damages thru Blast which is very efficient considering it doesn't use SP.
bro doesn't know that yanqing's follow-up multiplier is only 50% of his attack ._. its pretty obvious why his follow up only does 10k bro, it's multiplier is literally worse than a basic attack
I get YQ is not that bad, it’s just that JL is way too cracked, he’s fine being our favorite punching bag ig JL with assists are just way too op for stratless brute forcing those enemies Also not gonna mention that JL is kinda ez to build
you don’t need so much crit rate on him, i personally run 20/220 w/ 134 speed and 3400 atk (top 100 yq worldwide arguably top 25) you wont be hitting criticals that often on his skill, but the vast majority of his value actually comes from his ult anyway, which will crit basically 100% of the time even with CR as low as 20%
@@vtrmrl i have ATK boots but i’m planning on switching to speed once i actually get some with good substats also he has a 10% speed boost with basically 100% uptime so unless you’re going for very high speed you can just run 122 speed and still have 134 in battle consistently
I don’t understand for what lore reason his talent turns off on damage. You’d think being a prodigy would mean he’s skilled enough to keep his skills sharp. Are you telling he is who is in the narrative? A child prodigy whose confidence is shook by the slightest inconvenience?
he has a dumb condition to maintain his buffs and has more limited team comps to ensure he has those buffs up. he also lacks “out of turn” movements/spd buffs like the other Hunt characters. he lacks what a lot of hunt characters have unfortunately. the only thing that makes him a hunt character is that he is only single target
If only his condition for his buff wasnt so crappy and his follow up were like Topaz's or Ratio's he wouldn't be so bad I want him out of my account, I have him E3 Already please
