I spent 150 pulls for jing huan alone, glad i did get him since I love his playstule. Even though I have jinglu and other great chracters I will always be loyal to him. Good thing he got amazing buffs with topaz and the new set!
Powercreep is sadbut I still love them, and will pull Jingyuan for my Yanqing and Jingliu. Can’t separate the grandmaster/master/discipline trio, Yanqing and Jingliu have the cutest interact 😢
although yanqing has been heavily poweecrept. ive been maining him since day one (im tbl 70) and he's constantly doing 70k skill without soulsteel sync and his ulti does 130k on average edit: 110k skill with soulsteel

2:58 I’m sure someone has mentioned this already, but Yanqing actually can’t get his follow up if his passive is not already activated on the turn he is moving. So it’s actually impossible in this moment specifically for him to procc it.

My jingliu did 20k with only Herta's 5 star LC at s5 with no relics (because I forgot to swap them from my su run ☠️) and I think Bronya's push so I'm curious how much she deals solo with no relics and LC
Here is an idea, Using all the foxes in Honkai Star rail to clear the hardest content !! (u can use bailu/DHIL as the 4th slot since they are the closest to a foxian)
DHIL, Yukong, Tingyun, and Huohuo sounds like it could actually end up being good...? DHIL's skill costs could be offset somewhat by frequently ulting (thanks to Tingyun and Huohuo energy regen) and damage buffs from all 3 allies could cause DHIL's damage to go nuclear.
2:57 - correct me if im wrong but Yanqing needs to have his soul steel already active to have the chance for the follow up. He didn’t have it at that attack so there was no chance for a follow-up.
i actually LOVE all of hsr's characters. sure some are better than others but no character in this game is straight up "BAD". yes even herta and arlan lmao. they just need more investment and good building but if you like any character, you can definitely use them and they will be viable.
I manage to find a use for most of them, but some have definitely fallen by the wayside - Dan Heng gets ignored now I have DIL, Sampo is underlevel and too expensive to catch up rn, and I've barely touched Asta since she was lvl 40 - I only levelled her up to 60 to get another silver ticket. But there's a lot of fun to be had with a follow-up team with Herta and Himeko, especially for XP Calyx farming. I could throw in Kafka as well but frankly I don't need to at this stage.

I have herta in my main team since start of the game, and she can deal damage in more situations than people say even before they added content where she S or S+
@@Idknlandwh123She also has mad synergy with Himeko, a combo which is boosted again when combined with Ruan Mei : Break=> Victory Rush => Twirl. It's unequalled for Calyx farming and it's super effective against the Ebon Deer boss on SIM U world 7.
While maybe some buff to these char might make then more usable to many player (like lightning lord can still move while jing yuan is stun / cannot move or maybe bailu while cannot cleanse, maybe turn up the invrogation up a notch) but then again. It is a single player game so hey. It's not about the competitiveness, it's about having fun
They’re still able to clear content just fine, they’re just not the best of the best anymore, Bailu has still been carrying me even after new healers have come out, she makes up for her lack of cleanse with insane healing, so I usually feel safer when she’s on my team. It’s pretty nice actually, I’ve played lots of games where the newer units completely overshadow the older ones to the point that they are literally unusable, so I like that older units still have a purpose even after newer units have arrived
I will say this again, powercreep does not matter in this game you can still pkay with whatever character you want if you build them correctly, if your characters can clear out the endgame content then they're usable
Amount of resources i have to invest into old units is disproportional in comparison to new ones. All the quality of life new characters give come with little to no strings attached but for some reason Yanqing makes me jump through the hoops like no other unit. I thought that YQ will be Diluc of HSR but he is literally Qiqi
@@teplokot8124 This is true, like Dr. Ratio will need only 50% crit rate to have 100% crit rate and have the highest Base ATK with sig LC and No sig LC in the game and doesn't want insane SPD numbers because he prefer Tingyun and his Team make Dr. Ratio attack too and also he wants debuffs before his own attacks. You can make him at low SPD with Tingyun having 100% crit rate and a huge easy 3.600+ attack at low investiment. It's so easy build him, the only thing is hard to build Dr. Ratio is the fact that will need to optimize the SPD of your Tingyun and the debuffer, but it's not that absurd.
I used Trailblazer in a lot of my squads until I replaced her with Hanya, to feed Imbibator Lunae's ENDLESS HUNGER - no need to sustain a team when most fights are over in 3 rounds. But between her taunt, her damage resistance and her high DEF, she can pretty comfortably sit there and rack up Energy from being attacked until she's practically spamming her Ultimate.
Idk about Jingyuan being powercreep after all his stat are still one of the best(if i remember his the 3rd place over all performance and 2nd fastest clear in MOC) adding the quality of live he get rather he need allot of investment unlike kafka so powercrept is overstatement unless ur talking about argenti having a strong aoe multiplayer than jy then yes he got powercreep a bit there or high chance of yt community/global trashing jy bcause his not the most op unit in a single player turn base strategie game
I'd say after the Duke set, he did get his value raised a bit, but yea the point is there are still definitely powercreep that happens. I did mention i didnt think JY was too affected especially with Duke set tho :D

lightning lord and numby are different for one very specific reason: JY actively controls it. it sucks that JY has a longer window to build stacks when he gets stunned, but it’s not incomprehensible as to why. edit: also its multi target in terms of gameplay which would be really funny lol
I don't think Jing Yuan was powercrept considering he got a FUA support (Topaz), a sustain who helps him not to be CCed as much (Fu Xuan, iirc also Huo Huo) and a new FUA set that is tailored to him.
I mean he now fits the bill of a decent limited 5 star character, but before that he was… ehh yeah, just think about how strong all those buffs are and he’s still “just” decent.
Honestly sometimes I think we should put Yq on 2p Ice 2p Follow Up just to make him the ultimate gamble. You got him from losing 50/50 and there is now a roughly 50/50 chance of doing a lot of damage or basically none at all :)
Every boss character being though against their own element and than there is argenti which is weak to physical and the best character to kill him is argenti himself
I love my bailu she might not be able to remove negative effects but the amount of healing, 10% extra hp, damage reduction and free revive are amazing it doesnt matter what kind of debuff i get bailu heals through it like a champ i got extremely lucky to have randomly gotten her and not much later her light cone
As long as Jing Yuan can clear all contents, he is still fine I guess. To me he is only great at high investment and with the right supports. Whereas Kafka is way better than Jing Yuan at low and mid investment, sadly...

@@Ilovejohnnyjoestar30 I think you totally misunderstand what I say, at high investment, Jing Yuan is better than Kafka. The proof is he also can do 0 cycles with 2 supports at E0S1. The thing is many people are baited because most of them didn't even built Jing Yuan properly (bad relics and wrong support). At mid and lower investment, Kafka performs better generally. Hence the drama around him. I am just sad about this situation sometimes, why are you mad?
@@FeuraL. i am not mad, what you said is just incredibly stupid. i have seen e0s0 0 cycle clears with jy, he is not necessarily high investment. it's not that he needs high investment. it's the fact that nobody bothered to build him before yapping and jumping the train. keel gives an extra 30 cd. his cr traces hives him 22cr. you can clear with a 1:2 ratio jeez. doesn't mean he's at fault when players can't even DO basic investment. when will yall learn that kafka is not low investment. that "low investment" is spending weeks building characters you will never use outside of kafka teams. not to mention her low investment team is so limited to who you can even build. all yall do when yall say that he needs high investment compared to kafka is ignore that they have to different bis teams and have two very different, but equally tedious investment lanes.
I really wouldn't say Jing Yuan was powercrept. He still is the 3rd best unit in the game in terms of overall MOC performance and currently 2nd fastest unit for this MOC 1-10. So I would not say he has been powercrept yet.

The reason why Stelle/Caelus is not actually powercrept is because of their shield application. Sure it may be small, but it is constantly being applied by like everything they do. Why would flimsy shields mean anything? Because of content like Simulated Universe where Preservation buffs require that a person has a shield on them, meaning she has global application compared to someone like Gepard who shields once in a while during his ult rotaiton or March who does single target shielding. I personally would never run Preservation in Simuni, but for content that asks that of you like Swarm Disaster and Gold and Gears, it's worth it.
Of all of these 2, id probably say trailblazer and jing yuan are still good, jingliu does critboosts and damage better then jangqing, and most newer healers heal better and cleanse them bailu
I wish they fix jingyuan :') i love him so much aghhh Its just i want his LL to act the moment he reach 10 stacks + and still act even if jingyuan cant move like topaz 😢 he will be much better
no one is talking about how he is wrong about yanqing follow up activation.. it activates after you already have soul steel sync active and you do another attack!.. yes him getting hit ruins it and it is still inconsistent but it doesn't activate on the first e skill attack.. he was bullying him for wrong reason.. he is a qiqi not a kaeya..
Himeko is the best for farming little shitheads and exp. Bailu+Fire TB is the safest team for autoplay or exploration. Geppy is the key for cheesing SU. Bronya never gets powercreept, until literal better Bronya and Welt is hot. I love how standard banner/free chars. still have their uses even after they get powercreeped(except Yanqing, HSR hates him).
I still use fire mc to this day since constantly applying shield to everyone is cracked and cause I don't have anyone else to put gepard's cone on (also because I don't have fu xuan literally any other preser character)
I'm filling out my Blade team with Yanqing so he's like a discount Jingliu for me and it's kinda the only way I see myself getting through MoC (I pulled on every sustain banner cus I like the characters, and my only well built DPS are Blade, Seele and Yanqing...)
After shitting my brains out at Bingo I did a single 10 pull on Jing Yuan banner and got my E1 Yanqing So every time he hits something his E1 gets triggered because its near impossible to not crit
Honestly Pyro MC isn't 'Powercrept' for me. Pyro MC is just a really good viable Preservation unit in terms of utility. She was ultimately my most well built preservation unit until I pulled Gepard. Even then I still use her from time to time that's just how good she is tbh. That's why for me Pyro Mc isn't a powercrept unit and about Bailu? she's really good despite the RNG healing. Even with no cleanse. You just need to run a cleansing Harmony Unit like Bronya or maybe even March if you so desire. It isn't that hard to work around with especially with how well done the 4 stars are in HSR. It's honestly difficult to NOT put one 4 star in a team since many teams use different kinds of 4 stars wtuh some bejng viable stand ins for the lack of the needed 5 star. It's really only Yanqing and Jing Yuan since they are supposed to be DPS units. With how stupidly powerful the recent releases of DPS are especially Jingliu and Argenti, it makes sense that the only actual powercreeps here would be about DPS units.
as a bailu main the fact that lynx and FUCKING YUKONG a HARMONY unit both have debuff resist just pisses me off. just add debuff resist to invigoration and bailu would be fine.
@@Lukashoffmann94 give debuff resist to invigoration. invigoration applies to all allies whenever bailu uses her technique or her ultimate. but even then i guess debuff resist only helps if you use it beforehand so maybe its not as useful as just a straightup cleanse like lynxs ultimate.
"she(Huohuo) struggle less than Bailu did" really sherlock? i couldn't tell at all. this MOC borderline tailor made for her. just to be clear i do not say "Bailu is way better than Huohuo" because she isn't, but to use different line up(Fire MC, Bailu, Jing Yuan, Yanqing vs Huohuo, Tingyun, Argenti, Yanqing) and reach that conclusion feel like an ass pull.
Well the main point is huo huo had 2 missing relics vs a fully built bailu, hard not to say its worth noting right. But perhaps i didnt get my point across clear enough, my apologies 😌
@@GodDoggos the point "huo huo had 2 missing relics vs a fully built bailu" is my main issue with the conclusion here. in the "most powercrept" team, there is borderline no synergy between each character. nothing to lessen Bailu work load, even if Bailu have a higher and consistent heal number than Huo huo it wouldn't have been matter since burn doesn't trigger Bailu invigorate. the most that team has is Yanqing highly RNG freeze and ST nature which frankly isn't enough in conjunction with Bailu heal no support to provide buff for the carry to do big damage to end the fight as fast as they can so the team wouldn't wipe out not it has any real capability to even hope to slow down burn application through toughness bar break. while the other team, you have not only Huo huo(though unbuilt, but this is her niche, deal with debuff which is the main threat of the first half of that node, but let's ignore that) but also Argenti who can significantly lessen Huohuo workload by breaking enemy toughness which might delay the application of burning stack and there is a support to provide buff for either Yanqing or Argenti to do their job better which is dealing damage and kill thing fast. TL;DR i disagree with your point because you draw a conclusion from 1. using them in a different team with different line up(which can be easily remedy by using the same unbuilt huo huo and put her in the most powercrept team instead of Bailu) 2. test them when one of them is out of their niche(pseudo-shield vs debuff cleansing)
Unless you have a Gepard, the passive is not impossible. And never use March's shield, because Yanqing's "less likely to be attacked" passive will be useless
