I made this tonight, doubling the recipe, and my family ate every bite. Only changes I made were to use better than bullion instead of powder and I used garlic infused butter as well to kick up the flavor at the end. Make sure you cook out the alcohol and taste and adjust for salt towards the end. Ty for the recipe! Always loving how quick, tasty, and easy your recipes are.
I jsut asked a question about doubling.. Guess I should have read through the responses... I also have better than bouillon I have 4 Ribeyes so if doubling worked out Ill do that..

This was utterly and completely delicious. Made it with risotto Milanese and Alton Brown’s ginger ale carrots. Piece of peach cobbler for dessert. Sat back with a sigh of contentment.

Made this tonight and omg it was BUSSIN! This was the first time in a while my steak came out tender and so flavorful. I had everything on hand except for the wine so I just used the beef broth but it was still so freaking good.

I believe the key to cooking rice 🍚 is to rinse it well 1st and let it cook until all of the water 💧 has boiled out of it, but make sure it doesn't stick to the pan. I've ruined too many batches of rice, cooking them the old fashioned way, over the years. They either were gummy or I burned them. 🙁 Hence, I started using boiling bag rice. 😉 Thanks Matt! I’ve already gone through one container of your AP Seasoning. I just ordered two more. Lol I’ve been using it when I pan fry chicken breasts. And I sprinkle a little chicken bouillon on them too. My new favorite way to eat chicken.

One of the simplest recipes I tried. I didn't have fresh rosemary. I used thyme and chicken broth instead of beef. I also seasoned with creole seasoning. Bahia complete all purpose seasoning, salt, pepper and a little extra cayenne. I marinaded the steak for 4hrs. I used a ribeye. Really good recipe. Thank you.

Looks like a Very good recipe. Just like the green pepper steak I make. I always have cooked rice in freezer because started cooking rice in large batches in instant pot and freeze. It sure helps and makes it so much easier to pull together a meal quicker. Thanks for the recipe! Gotta get me some steak when it goes on sale!

i live kieto & a good sub for cauli rice is fine sliced cabbage. sautéed done with olive oil & butter salt & pepper to taste. i do this because i am very allergic to cauli. anyway, thought i'd share. have lost 84lbs on keto. it's awesome. worst word in the world sauce. lol love it.
Worth noting: UNSALTED butter. It does not burn nearly as quickly and you can control the salt yourself. I always bought salted until i found this out. I switched and its a game changer when cooking steaks in the cast iron.

Due to the low smoking pint of olive oil, I would have used avocado oil as it handles the high heat without scorching and possibly damaging some the more delicate flavors, also less spattering and unnecessary clean-up! Your recipe sounds wonderful!

Keep this recipe Keto by subbing cauliflower rice or buttery mashed cauliflower as sub for mashed potatoes. Sub broccoli 🥦 for the asparagus. Option to sub beef broth for 🍷 wine.
