Big Zulu speaking his language and David speaking in English actually works out perfectly. For those who unfortunately don’t know Zulu or can’t understand completely at least isn’t fully lost on context or what’s being discussed. Really a good approach.
Big Zulu strikes me as a very wise guy He might have not gone to school but Ihlakaniphile le nsizwa and he is a steadfast and rooted guy to his sense of belonging
@nkosimandla7687 isiZulu sithi "Okuhlula amadoda kuyabikwa" meaning even though they try to hold back but in some instances due to trauma nabo bayakhala. Abantu banegazi izimo abedlula kuzo zinzima bhutwami.
right??!! I was just saying the same thing! He has told this story so many times and this is my first time seeing him cry. It broke my heart and made me cry too.
Kind Dave. There is this art of placing guests at ease. Yours are not interviews, rather conversations - which helps us consume all the gems about the guest. I respect you Sir
As a Ndebele lady from kwa Bulawayo,Zimbabwe, l am so so so proud ngendlela u Big Zulu has expressed himself ngo Buntu bakhe. Ngizizwa ngingu muntu mpela mangizwa and ngibona indoda kulenzi nsuku oziqhenya nge culture yakhe. Big up Big Zulu
I respect Big Zulu, Professor and Nathi Mankayi for ukukhuluma African languages on these platforms. Thank you King David, for not persuading them to switch to English, as you have followers who do not understand African languages.
Big Zulu has told his story about his upbringing so many time but its my first time seeing him cry , and best believe me I cried too because I so relate to his story.....there's something about bra Dave's spirit that makes his guest feel comfortable.
I pray that one day uNkulunkulu enze ngecebo lakhe ukuthi uBig Zulu ayenze iMovie yempilo yakhe. It will be very interesting and helpful towards our youth
Yazi as intombi yomZulu. Ave ngibonga uma ngibona izinsizwa ezinjengaye u Big Zulu zitshengisa inhlonipho nokukhalipha okungaka. Its so sad to see how much hate we get from some SAns purely because singamaZulu and we aren't ashamed of it. We take our culture and unity very seriously. We pride ourselves about who we are through so many things. The few bad people who have come to " represent us" don't speak for us as Zulu people. We are a warrior nation and make no qualms about it. It's who we are and our children will know and so will theirs. Such wise words bhut'Omdala. Wishing all the best to ya mfwethu. Was recently visiting Bergville... very beautiful place, very hospitable people. ❤
The level of respect he displays real is outstanding..... Honestly zulus have respect..... Take the brothers from my " brother keeper" and the "the wife" when they buti omdala you can feel the respect on that
My respect went from 100 to 1000 seeing him showing those feelings not lento yokuthi indoda ayikhali ikhala ngaphakathi in this Gen we need man who are intouched with their emotions
No this "indoda ayikhali" was misinterpreted everyone cry kodwa for indoda kwakushiwe ukuthi awuhambi ubalisa ngokuhlupheka noma isizi lwakho uhambe utshela wonke umuntu. That what was meant.
I doubt there is Big Zulu interview I haven't watched but each time he speaks he gives me that hope based on his upbringing life story and where he is now. May God and his ancestors continue blessing that man. King David.... you are born for this my brother.
This interview has again reminded me that in this world there is someone who went through worse trials & tribulations than my own even though I may feel like it's worse at that moment but in the world at large it's little. He used cow dung to warm his feet 😢 I've never experienced that & it's something to be grateful for, I'm also glad that he endured through everything to be the person he is today who has no worries for basic things.
Big Zulu will never get married to a woman who wants to be maintained (slay queen), he strikes me as a person who will be attracted to a woman who has her own money, work, her own plans who knows where she is going. Now I see the BIG in Zulu. He is outstanding, his thoughts and the way he respects money❤❤❤❤
He is spiritual, no corn artist can win over spiritual being. Unfortunately once you live in the City and accumulate wealth you turn to attract bad spirits that contaminates.
I have recently learnt about ubulongo obushisayo mawdinga ukufudumala. ukukhula kunzima kodwa kunenhloso konke okwenzekayo futhi kuba nesifundo ekugchineni. am happy for BigZulu.
Big Zulu is exceptionally wise and intelligent, serving as a true role model for many of us. His humility is something we should all admire Thank you Bro David for bringing him through
If you see someone happy and showing their successes you now know they didn’t have anything asiyekeni umona siyijabulele impumelelo yomuntu when they make it from nothing.
One of the best interviews I have ever seen. I remember once I arrived home the following day on the 25 December. My wife welcomed me home with warm hands. Wangenzela itiya and I took a shower...no one word from her athi ubuya kuphi. Ungihlule ngenhlonipho yakhe. I'm blessed to have a wife like her. Siyabonga Big Zulu ngamazwi akho mfo.
honestly I'm not much of a fan of Zulu and I wasn't planning to watch this particular interview.. But I ended watching and listening attentively, learning and taking notes about life in general. wow. I'm impressed. there is so much I have learned from listening to big Zulu speak. thank you Mashabela
@@shwabade123yebo and sisuka lapho we ruled the whole limpompo region, Botswana and part of Mozambique and Zambia. We by far became the biggest empire. This history you will not find on text. Lakhona we were the last group in Southern Africa to be colonized that killed the most oppressors in the Anglo-Ndebele War
There's so much to learn from people like Big Zulu.If young ones can listen and understand that working hard and be intentional on things you do so much can be achieved.God really blesses those that pass on their blessings.Bless you Nkabi uyangibusisa by being a good example.
Such a touching interview. My respect for Big Zulu has multiplied. It's not everyday you see a man open up so much. Beautiful interview from Bra David as always. ❤
Wena David you are the King that you think you are, indoda yomZulu ikhuphe iinyembezi. God bless uBigZulu for being vulnerable. You are one of the kind. Thank for sharing your vulnerability and your journey with us.
I am so moved by the rawness of this story. Real men cry. Umculo wakhe ujulile ngoba impilo yakhe ijulile. Thank you for holding space so beautifully David. This is truly the safe space we never knew we needed. Keep going ❤
Wow Akubuzwa ngotitsha bayashaya kwaze kwanuhlungu😢😢😢 Yhoooo King David u r de best U r de one owenza abantu bazive bekhululekile ekuthetheni big up Zulu nation we love U
Big Zulu you telling the plain truth, we all come from somewhere as African people but most people feel ashamed to go back and smell the poverty they were exposed to , kanti those sceneries bring back nostalgia , take us back to our natural healents and peace, connections with nature and that there are natural gifts that we never appreciate and that we should be proud of our nature and africanness
I had to leave this interview and go listen to home sweet home, I don't know what's happening to me however it makes me understand why I love Khayalam also by Big Zulu. I enjoyed this interview, thank you❤️
Bra Dave I just wanna applaud your patience & your skill of listening to someone not just to respond. Big Zulu I felt it when you reminisce about your childhood bro, you're who you are today of those hardships! Qina ndoda ekhaya ba bheke wena!
