I love it that you say, my marriage doesn't have to look like yours.That everyone needs to work that out between their husband and the Lord.So many people push on you that your marriage has to look like what theirs looked like and it's very wrong
I was a stay at home mom with my 4 children, didnt home school, but now feel very lost, my children are married and gone most have left the country, im a South African , i dont have access to my grandbabies😢 feel like i have no purpose anymore. At 62 finding work is next to impossible. I keep asking the Lord where to now???
@@michaeleAthlea God has a purpose for you in all the stages of life. Focus on reading His Word daily and drawing near to Him in Worship and prayer. He will illuminate the path that He wants you to follow. He will open doors that need to be opened. Have faith that He is working out everything for your good 😊🙏

Your situation sounds so similar to mine, contending for your marriage, home, family, finances and feeling lost, overwhelmed, inadequate, failure etc! I want to encourage you to stand strong, like Deborah, God has called you to be a mother in Israel, God is with you, Christ is IN you - ask him what that looks like to be a "mother in Israel" for you personally, in your unique situation, how he can empower you to be a warrior mother bringing victory to your entire household. I am praying for strength, wisdom and above all LOVE to overtake you as you fight and stand and intercede for God's heart to be manifest in your marriage and in your home and in every area of your life. So grateful you started this podcast! I pray more women and younger women come across this podcast! We all need to hear this and remind one another of these truths.
I also feel as a female we have lost our voice as a parent. I try hard to use it but it is nearly impossible when you’re coparenting in a broken marriage because there seems to be no more respect and the child(teen) leads with their feelings and is supported by the other parent
Fighting to flourish not fighting each other is golden! Such a difficult and delicate balance. In this new season of our youngest son heading to college in the fall is a challenge. I feel like I don’t know what to do with myself!🤦🏾♀️Lord, prune me and reshape me!

Lots of great points! Overall, if we keep a Daily relationship with GOD, and we keep learning how GOD sees Love, marriage, family, (by reading The WORD, watching Christian YT or other channel ; where they study & have an online Family, etc. = ALL of these things keep us GROUNDED ; thus our lives are filled with good things, DESPITE the trials ( we all have them). Also, remembering that Jesus is the only perfect one and saved an unsaved. We’re all still falling, but we have to remember that God no longer wants us to look at our old selves, but that were new. We’re new creations and we can be all the things that are necessary to have a good life, and even at the very end of it, we still will not be perfect. It’s also really important to have your own personal identity that is not dependent on pleasing the world or anyone but yourself and your creator and savior ; it’s important to focus on loving others every day when you focus on loving others and letting God love you while you’re doing that amazing things happen. We really can move mountains just keep trying every day and never give up and we working on things working on changing bad qualities about ourselves that’s part of the Christian walk. It’s a good and positive challenge. We are supposed to be filled with light and strength. I hope and positivity that this world does not offer a lot of times I think women don’t fight up because they’re looking at the world. They’re looking to the world still …… thinking they’re fully living as a Christian, but they’re still trying to please the world, even though the World is dying and evil. There is nothing good there to please!
