Oh wow, huge congrats, Anchal! You're a published author and we can have your book on our shelves! Amazing! :) Your voice is fun, and also a service to so many of us, and especially the younger generation. Growing up many of us felt like our situation and pressures and annoying aunties were unique to us, until we get older and dish with our Desi friends and realize we all dealt with similar nonsense! Congratulations on your book ! Very happy for you. One day, I hope we can move on from being generalised as an ‘asian community’ or as ‘brown girls’ as the reality is that people of South Asian background are diverse in terms of country, language, caste, class and background. Perhaps your book is the first step towards that.
