I've got my water broke because of coughing, thank god I'm on my 39week's,my midwife induce me coz I'm only 4cm dilated, thank god after I've induce @ 9am, I've delivered my baby @ 11:15am ,it's so painful because of the absence of my water,and I've got cramps on my leg while delivering,, i just pray and work so hard to get my baby out, with the help of my midwife.. now we're happy and safe home, my baby girl's birthday was July 28,2019..😊
Hello there. I'm so worried about my sister in Wednesday her OB told she had a little bit of water left and she was stuck at 3cm the baby is still not born and now I'm worried that she lost her water she keeps telling me that she doesn't feel pain any pain yet and she is confused if the baby still moving she doesn't know if the baby moving or the contraction
I'm 21 weeks pregnant right now and I just got out from the hospital been there for 5 days Oct 12 felt I had water like discharge too frequently had to change underwear twice in less than 30mins cause it was soaking wet around 5pm felt pressure pain in my lower abdomen together with backaches that comes and go by 2am I had discharge with blood so I was rush to the hospital when they examin me I'm just 21weeks but I was already 8cm dilated had the doctor told me Im experiencing premature labor I was frankly told since it's just a small provincial hospital the baby is on High risk of not making it and the the waiting game starts I was put on IV, oxygen and takes different meds that might help the baby be save but says to me it's a very very small chance the baby wont survive by Friday had my ultrasound the baby is already crowning ang mucus plug is out still continue with meds and bed rest at the hospital baby has unstable FHT but bec of some doctor advice that baby is not gonna make it bec babys heartbeat is unstable still in bed so hubby is slowly accepting hard we will lose our angel so his searching on what to do with the lifeless fetus just incase,by Friday night abdominal and backpain stop, discharge was lessen and bleeding had stop, baby still detected moving a lot, by Sunday Oct 16 had the best news one doctor told me the best news I could ask for can now go home with my baby is still alive within me ultrasound says that even though mucus plug was gone but the aminiotic fluid is still intuck so upon going home by Monday I now need to be in total bed rest the whole pregnancy with no bathroom privileges and my whole Lower body need to be elevated the whole remaining 5months but it's ok as long as hope that baby will be safe I can do anything,need to be 100x careful and takes a lot of meds that doctors prescribe, right now still praying and thinking positive that we will make it till the last day of our journey though there's soooo much stuff to buy for our baby's safety, fetal Doppler, BP test machine, oximeter, medical oxygen glucometer and wheelchair but worth spending every cents to save our baby our little warrior. The doctors and nurses were very amuse at me since it's their first time encountered 21weeks pregnancy that had premature labor and already 8cm dilated survive and went home safely with an alive intact baby in womb I'm just Soo happy our baby didn't give up and really thrive to survive the journey. Wish us luck please that we'll get through this phase of our life successfully🙏😭🥹
WHY it is so important to have it checked is the risk of infection. Once your water breaks, baby is not sealed and protected from bacteria so baby should be delivered preferably in 24 hours to prevent infections. Not unimportant to know.
My daughter went through 4 pads in 1 hour. “we don’t know. Come back every day with a toddler so we can send you back home!” Is what it feels like. Smh
On saturday I was having liquid discharge and I went to d hospital and d doctor sent me back home saying it wasn't fluid and I wasnt ready to have my baby... i went back on monday morning and disturbed them to examine me. Low and behold it was my amiotic fluid. I had my baby that same day. Sometimes d doctors dont know it all just trust ur gut, ask questions and ensure they examine you well
I’m 19 weeks pregnant and last night I went to see a doctor to check if I broke my water. I was constipated (sorry TMI) and had a big push, right after a gush of liquid came out but didn’t feel like a pee. It kept coming then it stopped, after that I felt the urge to pee. I was worried my water broke so I went to the hospital to get checked. They did an IE on me and was told it was only a discharge. The amount was more than a pee, I’m not sure why they thought it was just a discharge, anybody had the same experience?
@@elizabethedwards9712 Here in the UK I’m not sure if it’s just the hospital I go to, they won’t do an ultrasound at all 😏 especially if you are under 26 weeks so I had to wait for my 20 weeks scan to find out if everything is ok 😩
@@Ysb_m absolutely not - u should go to Maternity triage and then they can test and - if it shows to be anniotic fluid they will admit and areange scan as inpatient - please dont wait
Am 20 weeks pregnant and I have been leaking a lot of fluid from the past 3 days. Went to the hospital yestrday and the scan report said that the amniotic fluid is adequate. My gynac examined down there n said its the discharge and prescribed medicine for bacterial infection. Still using napkins so my clothes don't get wet :(
Mostly it is vaginal discharge lubricating the inside of the vagina to prepare for when the fluid does break. The only time it is concerning is if you are filling more than 1 panty liner with liquids, then most likely see a doctor or go to an ER. If you have weird abdominal cramps like your period is coming while you believe to be leaking I would also recommend going to a doctor for a check up. Good luck mamas.
I have been leaking as well,run 3 scans including the biophysical scan and they said everything is excellently fine,why then am I leaking?the leak was minimal today though.They gave me antibiotics and injections to make the lungs mature incase the baby decides to come early.I am 35weeks and seriously confused
hi I am experiencing the exact same thing and I was given the steroids and antibiotics as well. How long after did you give birth and were you discharged after the meds or did you give birth ? and did the leaking stop after the meds ?
First pregnancy, week 31. On examination, they saw that there was some liquid and discharge. In addition, an abnormal urine steak (and was completely normal the day before). After two days in the hospital they are waiting for some more tests to come back and they say that if the tests come back normal and there will be no aggravation then continue to rest at home. I don't feel well at all and I don't know what to do.
I’m about 24 weeks pregnant and my discharge is getting watery. I remember this happening on my first pregnancy as the weeks progressed. However, because I experienced my water actually breaking at 38 weeks, I do sometimes worry about my water breaking too soon when I feel the discharge flowing. I’m much more stressed during this pregnancy due to having a hyperactive 3-year old now that I have to chase and someone’s restrain. It all takes a toll on my body, but I don’t want it to cause me to go into preterm labor.
@@Blue-jo9fl Overall, quite well, but very uncomfortable and scary. My second pregnancy was very symptomatic and I even had heavy bleeding at 24 weeks and some bleeding at 26 weeks, both of which turned out to be nothing. The last 2 months were very hard on my body and especially the last two weeks. However, my baby made it to 39 weeks and 4 days when she was born and came out healthy.

I'm currently 27 weeks pregnant and have been having heavy discharge one or twice a month. Midwife says it's normal. I'm hoping my baby turns out healthy in the end too💕
I have been coughing a lot today and sick and I went to bed. Around 1am I woke up to being surrounded by wetness and I was like what the heck? Did I leak amniotic fluid? Or was I in a bunch of sweat because I’m sick? How can I know? It dried up pretty fast but I’m 22 weeks with twins and I just don’t know if I should go in.
I'm so nervous about my pregnacy cuz my amniotic fluids whent from 10 to 4.8 and then keep going down I get ultrasounds 3veryweek I'm 37wewks right now but ya
Oml this is exacly what is happening to me right now im only around 19 weeks and no one do anything to check me if the water has broke or not. 😔. We have lost our baby son recently and I'm so worried that its going to happen again 😞. Life is hard.
Hi guys I also need your help,iam pregnant 25wks now ,I started leaking liquor 3wks now ,I did a scan and I found myself with an incompetent cervix,I saw the gynecologist and he put a stitch to my cervix but still no change .to get some relief I have to make a small cotton roll and guaze I pack it then I put on a pad.i need your help please
I’m 11 weeks pregnant and got water leakage. Is it still safe for the Doctor to do Internal examine? Instead of doing tests first to know whether the leakage was water or just pee? Or to test how much did I lose amniotic fluid if it’s amniotic fluid? What’s the first aid or first step if I got water leakage at 11 weeks? Please I need to know. 😢
Can you give an update, i have a similar issue currently 12 weeks and losing yellowish watery fluid sometimes slowly and sometimes as a gush. My midwife has told me to relax it’s probably just normal secretions but my gut says otherwise
i went in yesterday after gushing fluid.. they did two tests. ph and fern, both negative. was told it was probably discharge.. got home, soaked 5 thick pads since, its ranged from clear to pink, i can literally wring it out.. can discharge do that??
Silly Gurl this is what they told me last Sunday tests are negative Today I come back they say u don’t have any amniotic fluid around baby So why they said test are negative and u r not leaking amniotic fluid
I know this is old, but how is it so common for us to know that our bodies are reacting... yet the "professionals " keep saying its nothing and then are shocked when we put our foot down and there is no fluid for baby... this happened with my 1st born. The hospital sent me away 5times. And my OB was livid. Because my son was in 3cm of fluid. And I was going around with 3cm dilated and my water broken for 16 days. E I'm sure some nurses lost their jobs. Cause my OB was one of the best in the state and had a lot of sway in that hospital. 😅
Please replay. My wife is going 24 weeks and she has a problem that alot of fluid liquid is droping last 2 or 3 weeks. Please tell us that. Is this a serious and what we should do
Did you ever figure it out? I can only think of one reason (off the top of my head) why that would happen when you're not pregnant, and I think by now you would have *absolutely* figured it out.
