That was a great day fishing! That gaff is where it belongs... it had a hook that was way to small and the handle to long for a kayak, which makes you try to gaff when the fish is to deep. But still a good day on the water. Keep breathing

Got my PB os 39 two weeks ago. Went back today for solid limits. Halibut have been great this month.

Just a tip we net all our halibut up to 60 pounds. Over that size and a harpoon and buoy and long gaff Happy halibut hunting
