how does our perception of an art piece, song, or dance change when viewed through the lens of another medium? Is interpretation collaboration? What is collaboration?
the purpose of this project and the whole concept was to explore the idea of collaboration and perceptions of art, highlighting the intertwining veins of interpretation, inspiration, and creation. before entering NYU, my personal statement was about wanting to create with as many collaborators across as many creative disciplines as possible, and this Colloquy project has planted the seeds for this.
