Hello Everyone,
My name is Jason Saunders and Welcome to my channel.
I have just purchased myself a VW T5 1.9 van in which I am going to do a full camper conversion on. Stick around and subscriber for more step by step uploads of my build and my journey.

Would love a van like that. I would never be at home if I had something like that. Hills, countryside, parked up by lochs... Sounds brilliant. Looks like you have got yourself a nice clean example. Looking forward to seeing how you proceed with the conversion. :-)

Hi matey. Sorry this was already a fitted part. However it is only bonded on so I recommend tiger seal and some low tack masking tape.

Would the custom inlet fail an MOT since the EGR has been removed?

Hey Phil. I don’t think so to be honest. I think they check the emissions and as long as that’s ok it’s ok. But I can’t confirm 100 percent.

Nice. What year is it? 1.9tdi? What's the revised power output ? Good thing it's not a 2.5tdi. I had a 2003 174hp 2.5tdi Multivan. It was a total disaster, was always in the garage and cost me a fortune in repairs. I hated it and eventually traded it in for a 102hp T4 which was brilliant. I've since sold that and got a 151hp California which I love to bits. Good luck with this one. Looking forward to the build. 1 new subscriber!

Hello Robin. Thank you for your comment and welcome. Yeah it’s the 1.9 and year late 2006. I really wanted to avoid the 2 litre and 2.5 to be honest as I heard a lot of bad things about them. So I chased the early engine which I got. Sorry to here you had loads of trouble but sounds like you did the best thing. Wish you all the luck in the world with your California. I really like that model to be honest. 🙏🙏

Hi Claire. I did think this and was having loads of trouble fading it out so decided just to leave it. A lot on here are on show so I kind of just felt if anyone was going to clone it they could just google 100s anyway. Hope it goes well for me but thank you for the concern it’s very appreciated. I am going to get a vintage plate made for future filming
