Our 2014 Mini Countryman ALL4 is the sought after all-wheel-drive model of the largest Mini - A good-looking crossover which is the more practical sibling for the Mini hatchback, and which has a higher ride and roomy interior. This is a 5 seater model with 5 doors and a higher stance which gives it improved interior space and excellent visibility. Just like the hatch, it's also filled with retro charm and is guaranteed to raise a smile every time you drive it. Power comes from a 1.6 litre turbo diesel engine which produces a healthy 112bhp, but is also very economical to run. This model has a 6-speed manual gearbox, so its a car that is great fun on a twisty B-road, practical around town and also great on the motorway. Minis are all about feel-good factor and despite being notably larger than the regular mini hatch, our Countryman still feels special.

The combination of looks and practicality make this one of my favorite Minis. This being the sought after 4 wheel drive model makes it even more appealing, with winter approaching.... It certainly is a car which turns heads and has a real Feel-Good factor. But it is also a car that is practical, with its tall and wide body giving you optimum interior room, and the high quality finish giving it a real premium feel over rivals. The Mini is designed and built by BMW so this is quite possibly the best built cars in its class, with well thought out design features and proven reliability. Both inside and out our Mini is a fabulous blend of retro meets modern. The cabin is both simple and uncluttered; the retro-speedometer is situated between the driver and the front passenger in the classic MINI position. The rev counter is located on the steering column in front of the driver, and also houses a 2nd, digital speedometer, which looks fantastic and adds to the feeling that this is something a little bit special. All the controls have that retro feel, even the traditional looking toggle switches which operate the cars fog lights and auxiliary functions - fitted as they were in the original Mini in the centre console under that large central speedometer.
The huge appeal of the original mini was its excellent driver enjoyment and with the Countryman you still have that bloodline, but with the added practicality that make this a family friendly Mini. The handling is superb with a positive feel to the steering and barely any body roll. The resulting product is far more fun and involving than cars costing twice this amount - Yes there are faster hatchbacks out there but there are few cars that will make you smile as much as a Mini. With its blend of light weight and excellent chassis dynamics. 4 wheel drive grip, combined with Minis superb ABS brakes and ESP stability control, ensure this car will bolster your confidence in all driving conditions. Having sold many of these cars over the years, I was expecting great things from this car and I was not left disappointed. The whole car feels taught and almost like new. The steering is well weighted and the clutch and gearbox are perfect. I love the full leather interior on this example, and the condition is simply superb. This car has clearly been well cared for, with a full service history (listed below), matching set of Bridgestone tyres and warranted low mileage.
