Yo guys! Hope your all well and I’m sure you can relate to this video! Sometime we all fall behind I guess🍇 let me know what you think of them sunset shots as well!! I was v proud of them haha Check out a day in my life as a Economics Student ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YN2T3KWUa2E.html #University
Hello. Economics degree? So what do they say about the Bank of England..? Regarding the totally illogical way they charge the country seemingly. Or is this not covered?
Two knives for dinner - Priceless :) As for, to what is the legacy of World War 1to blame for the great depression, between four of you - that's easy. Start with Reparations and meander along with world trade (including that of Germany), to the Wall Street crash 24 October 1929. Some of us have to do our assignments on our own. Hope you all got a good grade pass by the way.
I’m in 3rd year at uni and am so far behind. It’s not about motivation it’s just whenever I try to get work done I get flustered and overwhelmed and just can’t start. It’s been the hardest year of my life so far!
Tylor, we’re the same person. It’s a horrible feeling. I had my first panic attack this year, for example. I think you should go to the library and write notes first. Contact your lecturer if you can.
Same I’m like 5 weeks behind on lectures and can’t even turn up to them at this point because I’ve missed so much I won’t understand. Sat home trying to catch up on missed lectures before Christmas whilst also working on my 3rd year final project and dealing with personal shit too. This year has been the hardest year of my life and it’s only December, still got another semester to do yet
Mellow yy No a degree in electronic engineering that allows me to pursue my passion for engineering. Definitely not a pointless degree mate without people studying my degree modern society wouldn’t function
I feel you, I had to catch up 8 months of lectures in 6 weeks to pass. I didn’t attend any lectures, slept in all my seminars, and May hit and I just had to make notes on 8 months worth of 5-8/day lectures by watching 2.25x the speed, then memorise/cram whatever I could by writing it out/visualising it on my whiteboard. I also write my yearly 10,000 word research project in 17-24 hours over the day before the deadline. Dark times, hungry and sleep deprived times but I managed it, so hang in there dude, I believe
Lightningz X no I attended for the first 2 months of first year and stopped completely after, but this was in reference to my second year in which I attended no lectures
i like how i'm procrastinating on youtube and its algorithm is like here you go mate, watch a british student vlogger and his hectic student life...relatable.
Finally a youtuber that I can relate to. Man I am like very behind in school for lots of reasons. I have been procrastinating so much cause I am scared of the amount I have to do. I still have to catch up on some topics from last year and the beginning of this year in almost all of my subjects. Being in ruts and holes were a nightmare for me and they still are. Depression kicks my ass and basically no one knows how far I actually am in schoolwork. The only thing I can do as you said is to stay calm and not hectic. Gotta start somewhere tomorrow with my current school stuff and eventually my missed work. Thanks so much for this soooo relatable video. Being on RU-vid gives me at least the feeling that I am not alone in whatever I go through. Yup January will be the most insane month of schoolwork in my life. Wish you guys lots of strength for your journey.
Priorities...that’s all you have to think about. Set a time table with everything you need to do and stick to it. Sometimes you have to drop things because of other priorities, like Dracula. But in the end, you’ll be thankful you slowed down because your education is important. Acting won’t always work out in the end, so having your degree is important and will help your with jobs later. This is the same thing I would say to anyone though. Sometimes you just have to make and schedule and stick to it. If you miss lecture, then set aside time to watch it. If you’re behind on problem sets, then take 30 minutes here and 30 minutes there to do it. If you’re traveling, that’s literally the perfect time to catch up on stuff. Just slow down. You’re young and should be having fun. With all of this stress, you don’t get to experience life properly and it’ll make you sick.
A massive thank You for making this video i needed the inspiration I am currently pursuing the process of changing my course from 'cooperative economics and management' to purely 'economics' , for the past few weeks i literally can't sleep, i was getting lazy , unrelaxed and fearful . (cos we're on a long term holiday ) I'm hoping and believing in God that my current department will release me Your contents on Economics every time reignites that passion of being an economist,. I for one will appreciate your effort and time you spent in making them. ✌🇳🇬
Read the title as 'mid-life crisis.' Was a bit shook haha! PS - you aren't alone. I've never missed a lecture and i sit in-front for all my lectures, somehow i always find myself reteaching myself most of the content. Hopefully you manage to catch up! (:
Finally someone knows what I’m going through.. well I don’t miss my classes because I am more organised about it because I am studying my honours (4th year) now however I could totally understand the stress and sleepless nights as well because I have two disabilities one of them affects my learning and other one is quite physical. All I could say is try your best and you will get through this year.☺️
I'm in the same boat with year 13, I know how drowning it can feel to try and juggle so many things at once, but stay positive. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel❤
Big ass mood. So behind on my Spanish but there’s no classes for 2 weeks due to the UCU strike and a few other lectures where the profs are involved so I only have like 2 seminar per week now till before term ends. Got a dissertation proposal due in Jan and the advising lecturer is booked till end of Jan. Great stuff
I needed this so much!! I'm in the last year of my degree. They happened to change the matter of the degree this semester as well and honestly, my peers and I are not happy about it at all. Also, my interests and focus have changed as well and I'm currently pursuing different things (I wanted to change my degree for my master's, but the programme hasn't been fully developed yet)....and I've had a bad depression episode and voilá...i'm behind too. I hope that catching up isn't going to be as bad as I think it is! This video really helped me keep positive, thank you!
I'm not in university but I'm a college student and I have also fallen very very far behind and I'm glad to know it's not just me I really needed this video
It's actually pretty good. A lot of useful information about the hyperinflation which I didn't know. By the way, you have capitalised Depreciation once in the middle of a sentence, and I think it'd be better to use U.S. instead of US. Of course, you can use the full name, but you have to save your word count. Also good luck for the essay. Once more I'm glad I didn't choose economic history lol. Good luck with the lit review too... I'm actually behind too on lit review... I'm supposed to present a draft next Tuesday and I haven't written anything! At least I've read enough papers and took good notes so... let's see how that goes...
Samee. I am also an A,B student but because of this online shit i got D in a course dont ask me the reason. And i am already not on the track, like iam 5 or 6 courses behind. And right now im still thinking of dropping a course because the professor is horrible and i cant keep up with 6 courses at a time. Plus i am on scholership.
Universities here in America compared to universities in the UK ( if I’m correct ) it seems like the UK schools are much harder with all the essays and other things such as dissertation and etc that they make you all do, I’m currently a junior student at university here in America and we don’t even do that much work, our essays are a minimum of 1000 words or less and the things they make you all do we have never heard of but every country is different
Ctrl+ F to search for keywords on any document when writing essays saves so much time! wrote most of mine the night before and have graduated with a 2:1 now 🏴
I'm a second year economics student and I couldn't relate more to anything than what you're going through at the moment! Let's keep working hard Dylan!
Thought I was well behind until I watched this vid, made me feel slightly better for some reason, good luck with it mate, all about positivity on this channel!
Can totally relate to this... my procrastination list (a list of work and when they're due) is at a record high of 12 so far for over the last 2 years. All due around Jan.. ohh nelly.
Nice vid! Coming from a fellow (stressed)York third year, I’m also really behind but (although it’s bad) the strikes next week mean you’ll be able to have more time to catch up! Hope this helps a little, YOUVE got this;)
Got an econometrics assignment that no one in my class knows how to do, then the strikes happen and we've already lost a lecture and seminar, going to lose another. I feel you :(
Just an opinion, if acting/vlogging is really your passion would it be worth considering throwing everything into that? Rather than half heartedly juggling this and uni?
See I do everything ahead of time until I get behind naturally from work being put at all the same time. Let it get to the last week and still manage to do well on everything. Honestly it's my best because If I never miss and stay ahead always, for some reason I tend to do worse so now I'm doing better. It's amazing and sad I do my best under no pressure with a lot of stuff to do. I created a 2D video game and 10 page paper all for one class in less than a few days because that's what my child psychology (300 ) wanted from its students to make for children. So I was like cool, I've never coded before; i've only ever made a badly made board game for chemistry in high school so here we go. Honestly I think it's the rush of knowing I don't have time for anything that makes me do everything correctly the first time in contrast to studying or working on things over a course of several weeks or months and having nothing to motivate me to continue. But maybe that's just me.
you just got yourself a new subscriber . i really did enjoy this video , also i am in the same position as you except that i was procrastinating and now i'm panicking , and i am going to stay up all night , thank u again
My God you guys are lucky to have regular group assignments and work. Law school in italy, FOR THE MOST PART, is lectures (attendance is not requested) and then boom 2.5 months later you got an oral exam on a 2000 page manual on some Civil or Criminal or Administrative Law.
i know u feel mate i gets behind work too and it is terrible to fall behind i gets out of sort and routine when i am behind and the sunset shots was brill man very gd recording and gd with acting and your uni work. safe bro
Try to live in the present and appreciate life as it is now because before you know it, it will end and you'll be soon on the next chapter in your life. "Live in the present, because it'll soon become the past" - Garfield
Doing so shite at York and its only year one. God help me next year if I even make it. I love Darlington I have family there, so I might run away there too but without any excuse 😂
Exams start next week I am probably going to fail all but 1 English of course anyway I am doing a major in history but I already ask to change majors in the second semester so ya right now I am waiting for an answer hopefully I do get in because if don't I am fuck
What's with these words 'Vee Kativhu essay crisis. Harvard university student falls behind on uni work. Oxford student degree and essay crisis.' in the description? To bait us into this video when these don't really describe your vid?
3rd year into uk uni, and i've still not learnt my lesson to study consistently and actually attend lectures or just catch up to the online ones, exam tmr wish me luck fuck
Damn, I'm in the Second year of Law school and pretty much a entire semester behind, I'm having many problems with mental health and dealing with the why I'm doing what I'm doing, I regret everything so far. It's funny how I clicked to see if I was the only one behind but I am veeery much worse
If acting is truly your passion, why not drop out of uni, move to London, get a job and focus on acting on the side, until u get a break through. Your juggling way to much, it's possible, but u will just burn yourself out focusing on everything.
Do you not need to do in text referencing for economics essays? The paragraph sounded good to me, went right over my head though haha Also you’re MAD sitting outside eating your lunch on windy hes east 😂 I did it once, never again
