I agree. I have made Comme to on various channels and the comments get deleted or removed. Not sure by who. I believe it's from yt. Time to abbreviate or get creative with spelling and spaces and special characters. How sad is that!
I had this issue last year all my comments were being deleted, not sure why and my comments were just saying hello or nice job but were being deleted for no reason but it seems things got fixed now so all good I guess
There are ads while watching variety of channels, and the ads are nothing I would ever be interested in etc.. during one of Danny's videos there were 2 political videos for a party I am not voting for, so I had to quit watching the video, but I was watching some videos of " junk journal " crafting, and there was a movie ad that offended me... not sure how the adds are selected, also there never used to be ads during Dan live streams, but there was the last few times... so I did not continue to watch.
Wallmart raised the price of their 60 count egg box by $6.00 in less than 4 weeks. Start buying eggs if ypu can. Because this is getting rediculous. Are they going to another l.0.c.k.d.0.w.n.?
My coffee at Walmart dropped from $24 to %21something this week. 2.5 lb. bag of whole beans. With coffee prices generally increasing, I thought that was OK.
My parents grew up during WWII rations and the depression and they taught me a lot about food budgeting. During the pandemic we used the stimulus money to buy freezers and shelves. I also had the snap extra money. I almost never bought 1 of something, and spent the 1st 2 years the pandemic building up my frozen foods. Since food prices are so high there are things I just don't buy anymore, but I'm happy I have been able to keep replenishing my dry goods and freezer stuff...I appreciate this channel's alerts to shortages and recalls
One of my favorite documentaries to watch is by ken burns, Dustbowl. That was some tough stuff to live through... wow. Some generations have seen harder times than these for sure..
He posted a link to his Twitter/X page its about Russia making a major offense strike after a 9/11 style drone strike on a residential skyscraper near Moscow
I reposted to FB a video from The Benny Show he was filming/interviewing . . . I was sanctioned for misinformation 🤬😡. I reposted a video from The Poplar report, and from Redacted . . . ALL WERE FLAGGED FOR FALSE INFORMATION . . . YT AND FB CENSORSHIP GAMES ARE AT AN ALL TIME HIGH . . . ZUCKERBERG COULD REMEDY THIS BS 🤬😡 . . .
What I've watched recently of Steve's videos is that he seems to have changed his tune on Russia. His supply chain stuff is top notch. I have real reservations about his take on current events. He comes across as obviously being bought and paid for by someone. It's interesting that he'd break from the party line of those people regarding Russia.
I'll hang on to my mid-50's ranch house that sits on a third of an acre. Farley Creek on the south side and 30 feet between my neighbor on the north side. No neighbors directly behind me other than the wild critters coming into yard from the creek. Have the "main drag" running in front of my house that puts distance between me and the "across the street" neighbors. I love my lil bit of seclusion and I'm not selling😁
On the road intersecting ours, there is a beautiful row of trees with no houses. Big area where idiots throw bags of trash and fast food bags. One day a garbage bag was dumped on our road. Hubby was angry, so put on gloves and opened the bag. He found envelopes with a name and address. Hubby called the sheriff dept. and an officer came out, talked to Hubby, and was able to locate the idiot. The idiot had to come clean up their mess, got a ticket, and had to pay a fine.
I have lived under the flight path of planes. Every 2 minutes! The noise is around the clock and the emissions. When the landing gears wheels come put, that's loud too. So glad we no longer live there.
I live next to the airport and do not hear the planes much. What I hear is this test model they fly low all day long. I do not believe that thing is a test plane and recognize the sound all over the city for years LOL. My grand is a teen and we filmed it he was a toddler.
Also, living near certain military bases, in my experience they can be doing circles in the air, touch and go all day and even night, where I have lived in West Valley(surprise), AZ, Yuma, AZ, Oceanside,(San Diego),CA, even when I lived across the street from a Level I Trauma hospital there were lifeflight/med aircraft over my house day and night while doing my surgical training in Omaha, Nebraska. I didn't care.
I love right next to the airport also but the building has these, noise canceling windows? I don’t know what they are called but we don’t hear the planes if windows closed
Trust me, I was in residential construction for years. We decided to place big, roll off, trash containers in the garage of every home being built, so the crews could dispose of their lunch and drink trash. It helped, but we would still see stryofoam containers with half eaten food in the grass/dirt. Some folks just didn't care. 😢
A lot of bread labels show 'includes bio-engineered ingredients.' Products with wheat, like crescent rolls, canned biscuits, Oreos, Chips Ahoy, breads, rolls. Definitely checking the labels.
Hey Danno I’ve seen this all before. I’m a really old retired lady. Prices will come down in October just one month before the Presidential Election. Then the current administration will claim the prices are under control and coming down. Food items that were scarce and hard to find will miraculously be available again. This is a ploy to instill confidence and a sense of relief in people. No matter which Candidate wins the Election, shortly after the election prices will rise again. If history has taught me anything, the prices will skyrocket to make up for the short period of lower prices. This will become the new “normal “. It will take years to get back to affordable prices. I’m not trying to scare anyone. But this has happened many times during my lifetime.
@@rebeccasmith2865 Hopefully not. I don’t see it getting to that extreme. The depression was after a major war. It will get tough but I don’t believe it will be anywhere near depression type times.
@@gma1343 I can assure you that the average person doesn't care about the economy or stock market at this point...they never even cared to begin with anyway.
DT's CEO had told us that higher-priced items would be mixed in with $1.25 items on the shelves. One store near me here in New Jersey had 9.6-ounce cans of Folgers coffee sitting in between glassware items, away from the food aisles. I thought, wow, DT is selling Folgers for $1.25? I looked at the shelf tag and it read $5. So, we need to pay attention to the price of every item we plan to buy. We don't want unpleasant surprises at checkout.
If u need fuel oil in the East Coast u better order it now because we live near a rail road town and there noil tanker moving from Canada. Dint wait until October when never goes tomirder it u.might.be in firva shick
I bake all of our bread. It is much less expensive. And I can control the ingredients. It is not a difficult thing to learn and there are lots of videos on RU-vid. Hope this might help someone struggling.
I also hate to see the trees leaving, and I feel bad about wildlife, but it happens. Where I grew up in Washington,DC, the suburbs now stretch 4 times out. There are those of us who need one-level houses,(I needed it by 40) and help with maintenance,(I needed that in my 30s, as I had to paint and fix things when we had a townhouse and a REASONABLE HOA. The Husband here will mow the lawn, that's about it.) Do we really know what is going on in the world? All we can do is do our best, prepare as we can and PRAY. If people can't afford to TIP, they should not go out to eat. It's part of the experience and necessary to the lives of the waitstaff.
I have not seen any bee's around my home in Fayette County, Tn. I have seen a lot of wasp, but absolutely no bee's. When I got the little bit of tomatoes that I got, I think it was from the wasp able to spread some pollen. Although they do not do as well as bee's! This is the first Summer that I have absolutely not seen them around our backyard. Just crazy! Be happy that you are seeing them there. If they are around, they are not coming into my backyard and I even have some Marigolds out and that attracts them.
I get those nasty weeds in my yard. Highly allergic to them. I read they are poison and even dangerous to pets. I keep them killed off but every year they come back. Definitely do not eat them or even touch the plants.

Down south we eat the fresh new leaves after boiling them Three times in fresh water to get the poison out. Been eating this for 80 years and still living! Not the berries!!! It’s known as Poke Salat! Google it. Love your videos!
You need to go to a real blueberry patch and learn and know your foods. Nothing like a blueberry bush nor do blueberries grow in these style clusters. Would be a good learning experience for you.
I'm so tired of people thinking prices are set by the president. Blame the corporate greed of suppliers and stores. Walmart certainly hasn't been loosing money.
Good Morning, Danno, you always make good common sense of what's happening in the world. It's that common sense that helps us prepare correctly, even though nobody knows exactly what's going to happen. The "uneasy" feeling is in the air, everywhere, all over the country and no one is exempt. God bless you and Jess, thank you for all that you do.
I noticed that the property inspector for the house I bought last December was a smoker, which was surprising enough since it seems like not many people smoke anymore, but to this day I 'm still picking up his butts around the yard! Seems ridiculous that someone who's supposed to evaluate whether a property is in good shape or not just doesn't care about making it look worse!
I just came from my Safeway here in Grays Harbor…..the ice cream freezers now have locks on them and you must request an employee to open the freezer….employee told me corporate ordered due to the most stolen product out of the store the last 6 months for a total of $20k….. Pretty soon everything will be locked up…..
I live in a nice area. People drive by and throw their trash out on the street more times then we know. It's really disgusting. I put on a glove then go out and pick it up. The last time our newest neighbors picked it up. It's frustrating. It happens every where anymore.
AS the "once upon a time" single family residences in my neighborhood go to "rental units" the trashier the neighborhood becomes. My neighbor across the street and I do the same thing as you. Pick up other people's garbage. Their GOING HOME for heavens sake but chose to dump their crap as they cross over Farley Creek. The last major dump was someone's huge bush trimmings on top of the culvert over the creek. Suggested to Ron to leave 'em. If we were to clear it out it would be an open invitation to dump more of their crap. Anyways, the limbs/leaves would eventually "sorta" disappear over time. Frustrating for sure.
As someone who deals in construction for a living… I am all for having a clean environment but those are some of the cleanest job sites you will see. I know it’s tough to see around your home but they will clean it up at the end of each build im sure. But I still enjoy your videos!
Thank you Danno for everything you do .. I agree with you , prices are still high , nothing going down in price . Also all of the recalls too .. I’d like to thank you !
Good thing for us, we are poor and we have always lived poor or simple.....but we could not be any happier, I mean sure, there are things we wish we could do or have.
Lots of food not tasting the same. Some vids out about India confirming some watermelons have been 'tweaked.' I haven't had a chance to confirm, so not fact checked, yet.
The sad part is that local farmers are seeing these shortages and they are raising their prices. We need to support our farmers, but they don't have to pay to ship in . I cook one meal aday and sometimes that's very small meal. Tomatoes, zucchini, squash, cucumbers, and green beans are in season locally, and it is all overly priced. I think you are helping a lot of people, and those that don't want to know, well, they don't have to watch your videos. I thank you very much for your research on prices and recalls. You're doing a great service to our community , to the people all over America 🇺🇸. God bless you 🙏 ❤️. I saw an Amazon woman through her trash out on the street while sitting at a stop light. Concord grapes , 🍇 I have them in my yard. 😂
Domestic turkeys are much fatter, and don't fly. The ones you showed were wild turkeys. They are more prevalent than I believed before I got here, and you are now seeing them because people are building in their habitat.
Leave the pokeberries for the birds. In my Michigan yard the robins love them. ( they love my blueberries more) 😝. Blueberries are woody plants with brown or tan branches.
Not blueberries or even elderberries. It's pokeberries. Very toxic for humans but perfectly fine for birds. We limit eating out as well due to the high prices for food and other essential stuff we need in the home. Wished our SS benefits go a bit higher but it gets taken out more for Medicare.
Not blueberries -- don't eat. Poke berries -- poke salad berries -- poison to humans. Tender new leaves in spring, when properly processed, are a delicious green -- reminiscent of spinach.
Last year here in AZ dollar tree had thier garden and seed stuffs out in early December. I think I'm gonna be hitting a few of thier stores weekly between now and the end of the year to stock up on seeds. Next month should be cool enough to plant again. .. and things are out of season. Our prickly pears are ripe NOW and not the end of September. We even had a neighbor knock on the door last night wanting to know if they could pick a few. Guess it's time to get out there with our bucket and harvest some so we don't loose the whole harvest to people helping themselves. Of course we said he could have a bowl full since he asked.
I don't think price gouging is really a thing but I have DEFINITELY seen SHRINKFLATION! So, is that a form of price gouging maybe? Bottom line, we're being taken advantage of.
Dollar Tree will not give you your money back even if you didn't leave the store. You get a store credit. So, you must check before you paid how many items and the prices of what was rung up. I count my items before I put them up on the counter because I buy multiples of the same items at times and have been over charged.
Nice walk around to see how things are being built. The berry like things growing aren’t blueberries, they are a poisonous berry. When I see something with red or reddish vines, I just stay away.
They say fences make great neighbors. NO, they don't. I have lived on 50' x 100' lots. It sucks. Neighbors will say bless you if you sneeze with the windows open. So glad we no longer live like that. Acres and acres is so much better.
@@thisnthattalks1153 You are correct! Coming from a farm family and LOVE living out in the middle of no where, I live in the city now. With a great neighborhood, local stores less than a mile away, my neighbors on one side is only 15 ft away from her side door. Our bedroom is next to it. Yeah, sex has been limited because they CAN hear you talk, bed creaking, dogs barking, cat meowing for food, even our tv. And my daughter's talking to her classmates with juicy gossips. SMH!
@@HensOnlyI recently moved to NW North Dakota from Nashville, TN. My car ins. dropped over 50%, my vehicle registration renewal in TN was Going to be around 700.00, to renew, but I moved, I just went in and licensed the same vehicle in North Dakota, and it was only 146.00 for my reg/new plate. What I am getting at is, I now have perspective of how nice it is to be in quiet and less population.
Sales are not sales when they mark a dollar off on merchandise and say they call that a sale! What the hell kind of sale do you call that? Some people can't afford to stock up for the fall I don't have money to spend like that 🎯
Good morning everyone! I've been noticing for the past two or three years, the materials, parts used to manufacture furniture and food ingredients, everything! has declined in quality. It's really noticeable. Nothing is made to last. Food doesn't even taste good any more. The crime here in North Florida is really rising fast on top of everything else. I could use some good news but just don't see any. Anyway, have a great day guys! Danno I hope you don't get too hot. Be careful out there!
I seen some crazy price increases , saw a car air conditioning refill kit go up 50% and the flyer said "Great Value" with is massive price increase . I think i saw a 1 L bottle of carrot juice for like 9$ cdn , the next squeeze has begunith
Those aren't blueberries! They aren't elderberries either and not edible. Off subject, but heads up.. If the gov't starts to control grocery prices next year, there will be a big change in the quality of them. They're not going to give up their profits.
UPDATE ! THOSE ARE POKE BERRIES Don't EAT THE BERRIES !! ONLY THE LEAVES WHEN YOUNG ITS POKE SALAD YA COOK THEM UP THE LEAVES ONLY ! YA CUT UP BOILING TWICE ABOUT 20 MINUTES EACH TIME ! SQUEEZE OUT JUICE THEN COOK IN A LITTLE BACON Grease AND FEW CUPS WATER WATER UNTILL WATER ABOUT GONE & ENJOY
There is a wonderful park next to my former homme. The deer and wild turkey were happy, and the horse trails a real city asset. They added a fancy sidewalk and now are talking about building on the park This park was a square mile donated______ to the city for horse trails, nature trails and is in a flood control ditch. They would like to sell it to build homes or what ever and also plan to sell the city golf course next to it.
Have you looked at local planning? They may have purchased the whole area, and the woods for home building. I live by a state forest, so they can't build there.
My son has a company that lays water lines by the road up to the water meter etc. We live in southeast Georgia. They are laying lines for very large housing areas right now also. I imagine it's happening all over the country.
When Dollar Tree upped their prices, they lost me as a customer…I just won’t put up with the stock holder’s lining their pockets by taking money out of my pockets…
I have noticed fruit and vegetable prices are very high. All forms fresh, canned, or frozen. Soft cheeses and sour cream is scarce but hard cheese seems to be on good sales.
The peach truck talked about the hurricane flooding the peach fields and the late season peaches were cancelled. Also lumber is very cheap right now. Im sure the builders are in a rush to get things built.
According to the health of young adults, looks like only 40% will pass the health requirements for our military because of diabetes, obesity, blood pressure and more. They have made our citizens sick with the poison chemicals, preservatives, dyes, nano plastics in our food and water. All for corporate greed in big pharma and medical.
@@pinschrunnersadly it is recorded that alot of men in that age group are choosing to not work in traditional and the trades.. listen to Mike Rowe on this topic
When all our basic generic brand can goods go to $2 a can ( and we’re getter closer everyday to that ) that’s when you know we’re headed to some bad times 😢
I work at Dollar General and we are fully stocked in the state of GA. We have a truck that comes every week with a 500 plus piece truck. Then we get a second truck that's a cold truck for your whole foods and Frozen. We have a lot of overstock we have fall , Halloween, and Christmas things coming in. We have a buy one get one free of Summer closeout, we have 50% off sale The things that we cannot get sell goes right into the trash and then we have our trash pickers that come and get it for free. We throw out good candy and clothes , home goods, perfectly good dog toys.... Just to make room for new holiday seasonal items coming in.
Danno i can see what a good person you are. You inspired me to try aldis again. Years ago i had something bad from aldis and never went back. But since watching you i gave it another chance and its one of my favorite places to shop now. I still have to go other places bc of their limited varieties on some stuff. But i definitely make it a priority to try there first. ❤
I thought dollar tree was expensive because it charges high per unit prices and uses small unit sizes to make people think they are getting a good deal. If you want a place where you are better off shopping, go to Aldi.
My dollar tree has had great food items. I bought several cans of Margaret Holmes seasoned black beans and some tortillas and made the MOST DELICIOUS black bean tacos.
