I've Got A Robe (1974) Sounds Of Blackness

This live recording was made at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta, Georgia on November 23rd and 24th, 1973. Formed as the Macalester College Black Voices in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1969, they changed to Sounds of Blackness after director Gary Hines took over in 1971. They released their first LP in 1974 and are no doubt one of the most successful gospel choirs formed at a university.
Unfortunately my copy of this record is very distorted as it moves to the outer edges so I had to cut off the last 30 seconds of this song. I hope to find a better copy and replace this video some day.
