I've never seen wax doll restoration before; your talent is exquisite. When I was a child, my church had a Christmas manger and the baby Jesus was made from solid wax, finely carved by the convent nuns. it was so beautifully done with lamb's wool hair and glass eyes; I wanted to take it home with me 😂 I'm certain the artists must have been in a spiritual state of mind, while crafting such a symbolic figure. Very interesting doll composition; worth some research to find more wax dolls since you've aroused my curiosity. Thank you for sharing, your videos are so well choreographed...a pleasure to watch. ♥ ♥

This was beyond beautiful. The process was fascinating, and your skill is amazing. She is such a lovely doll, and so deserving of her Scottish "makeover". She is a bonny Highland lassie now.😊 . The goffering iron you used to pleat the silk is a small version of the one my mother operated when she worked as a launderess. It was used to place the pleats and frills on the linen nurses caps from the local hospital, whose uniforms my mother had the care of. I wish she could see your lovely videos... she would be enchanted 😊❤❤ Thank you so much.

Но вот как сделать такой изумительный кукольный интерьер - это моему пониманию недоступно! Книга - ладно!. Есть ролик, где Выделаете такие книги вручную, с иллюстрациями! Наверное, даже посуду можно где-то найти. Но кукольная керосиновая лампа! Это чудо чудное, диво дивное! Где, когда, кто их изготавливал?! СПАСИБО ЗА РОЛИК!!!

... when you took the doll out... and removed that first piece from her... I gasped! A wax doll! The camera can't do justice to the translucency of the wax... how it really looks like skin! They are so rare now. I have only seen them in museums. Thank you for letting us into your workshop to watch the magic, as you bring this lovely girl back to her glory. Well done!
