There's a lot to learn from MDJ, J-Dub, and Dustin that has nothing to do with fishing. It's a competition, but as long as one of them win, they're all just as happy. Everyone needs a circle like that, it's not easy to find.

That makes sense DC!! The Grass Carp put out a much larger shadow signature over and in the grass .. They are spooking up a lot more food in the grass.. The smallies can see everything getting spooked sitting above or behind the carp. Could be using the carp as cover to hide also. But that my friend is one hell of an observation on your part DC.. Holy crap dude you really capitalized on that little find.. Awesome job buddy 💪💪🎣😎. Congrats on a Great WIN.

If you watch DC set the hook with the spinning rod vs Scott Martin it all makes sense as to why Scotty loses so many fish when smallmouth fishing. It’s literally cost him at least one tournament this year possibly two but for SURE 2/3 top 10’s. YOU CAN set the hook with some force to drive that hook home THEN you play the fish. I love DC and so happy for him but I also love SM and just wish he’d take a bit of advice.
