Didn’t know Dr.Day’s name for several years of listening and looking forward to hearing his beautiful voice while watching services from FBC Dallas. Eventually saw him on RU-vid & was happy to learn his name. Now I look for Christian music with his voice & am so blessed to get to listen to him. At age 77, Heaven awaits. Not wishing him to be there too soon, but will love it when he joins Heaven’s Choir. Thank you for singing about God’s love!
Wow, I have to say that this is the best chorale version of this song that I have EVER heard!! Absolutely magnificent!! A most stupendous rendition!! I have to be honest but I dont think that anyone will ever come anywhere near to matching the duettists Sandy Patty and Larnelle Harris! Bravo to everyone on here as you are so brilliant! Sending love and best wishes from the United Kingdom. Nigel Martin Tutor of Music at the University of Sheffield, UK and PhD examiner for the Guildhall School of Music, London,
I didn't think anyone could sing this as well as Larnelle Harris & Patti Sandy but, they are just as beautiful & powerful with their voices. I love anything Leona Rupert sings.
This is by far the best post on this song. Everyone in this group is involved in the quality of the finished product. All the others revolve around the personalities. This is a very strong statement from both of these personalities as well as those supporting them.
Wow! I never have heard this song in a lower part harmony before but it certainly sounded so beautiful!! Truly the most beautiful song ever written. Hallelujah He’s alive and He is here with us always.
So powerful....I wish the world could listen to this with an open heart and mind. Mrs. Rupert, Mr. Day, Mr. Brinson and Dallas Choir ARE ALWAY AMAZING!!!!
Who is responsible for stopping the music feed in the MIDDLE of a song to ask if i want it to continue? How rude and disrespectful. I shouldn't have to stay seated at the computer to hear the music. Also, to cut in the middle of a song for a commercial, how appalling!
Larnelle Harris is not the gold standard here. Neither is David Phelps. The performer takes center stages rather the subject sung about. Leo Day is by far the "best" of the men, and Leona ... well she is perfect!
