At one point I had fallen away.. I felt distant and afraid. I prayed and cried out to him to forgive me and change me. I was outside under our tree to read his word and prayed for guidance with his word.. as I was going to the New Testament the wind blew and flipped the pages all the way to the Old-testament it landed on Joshua 1:9 which was marked since the first time I surrendered to Christ. I’m sure you all know that verse. Later that day after reading his word I got ready and was driving to work.. I continued calling out to GOD to answer me and forgive me! I turned the radio on and like clock work Charles Stanley comes on and resides Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous for Jehovah is with you wherever you go. I broke down crying cause I knew that was no coincidence he had answered me. GOD is merciful and faithful. Nothing can take us away from his hands. Confess and ask for forgiveness. He know we’re not perfect. I love you Abba Father!

The Apostle Paul went through many similar challenges. God is faithful, even if other believers seem very unfaithful. Here was Paul's encouragement (2 Corinthians 1:8-9)- "We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, and we thought we would never live through it. In fact, we expected to die. But as a result, we stopped relying on ourselves and learned to rely only on God, who raises the dead."

It's good you realize there is a disconnect. God never moved, you did. Now that this bothers you BELIEVE !. Believe in the ability of the Holy Spirit to realign you to Him self. Seek the Lord even though it feels empty and one sided. You have repentance in your heart and God is faithful and just to forgive and restore you to a right relationship back to Himself. Praise God!!! Sometimes i feel so unworthy to repent and it just makes me sad. But everytime I do call on the name of Jesus and talk to God like I'm his daughter because I am everytime I do He shows up and always comforts me. I need prayer please. Thank you and God Bless you! Even though we fall short of his glory let us always remember to turn back to him,his love and mercies are eternal,they are capable to forgive all manner of sin. He died on the cross for you and me to have salvation,look up to him in times of trouble, confusion, doubt, grief and every other situation you might be facing. God is the Shepherd who protects us and saves from danger.... when we go astray he shall search for even one lost sheep to pull back, love, care and tend to that lamb and He rejoices when He brings back his sheep to the flock. May God bring back all his people on earth who have strayed away due to malpractices and bad habits...No one is perfect. There's always a chance to correct oneself and restart a new life to bring glory to GOD!!

Great video! I was taught in a Christian biblical counseling course that God's forgiveness must be received by faith. When you pray and ask God for His forgiveness, you must ACT as if you're already forgiven!!! You're forgiven based on the Word of God and the shed blood of Jesus Christ! Pray and ask God to help you to believe!!! :) Feelings don't mean a thing. You can apply this same logic to healing as well. You're healed based on the Word of God and the finished works of Jesus Christ. The symptoms don't mean a thing. You just have to claim your healing regardless of how you feel!!! So thankful to Dr. Stanley for this message reminder!!! ❤🙏🙌☺

Thank you, this helped me, I had a problem with my head, I've been an overthinker, it has a little voice in it, satan uses my mind like a playground, yesterday, I have a question and the little voice(not mine) started blaspheming God and I think the Holy Spirit too, I am so scared, so so scared, I cried so hard and pleaded God for forgiveness, my mind says that I said all those things to Him and then that I should end myself since it's over, and no I will never kill myself, never ever, I shared it on my 2 closest friends and my sister and they start comforting me and it made me better, but I'm still scared, I pray to God again, and I think my mind says or I just feel that God is angry with me and is done with me, I am so scared, next morning, I can't feel God and I think I'm numb, cause I can't feel anything, and i started to overthink again the what ifs, it's like 50.50, I can't feel my love for God, the sincerity, feelings all completely gone, I'm scared, and now I'm still scared, very very scared, I'm scared that I might overthink and it will happened again, I can't seem to control my mind, it's hard, I've been praying for God about it, what's worst is that I have an ocd intrusive thoughts, and it disturbs me always, I have to command my mind to stop, pls pray for me to overcome this pls, I am still scared May God be with us

Oh My Goodness My Little Friend I Have Been Feeling The SAME Way , I was Engaging in a sinful act (Lustful) and it was like I heard a voice say don’t do it and with the temptation I did it and the voice was saying that Jesus Would Walk Away From me And since then It Seems like I can’t feel the presence of god like I used to and it is the number one most scary thing I have EVER Experienced I even Quit my job over it I just want Jesus Back in My Life NOTHING ELSE MATTERS To Me But That , Please Please Please if You Have Found Your Way Back To Him Can You Write Me Back And Let Me Know God Bless You. I am suffering from unwanted, intrusive, horrifying thoughts against my will directed towards God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit almost every 5 seconds of every day for the last 6 months! You are NOT alone! God will NEVER abandon you, nor leave you nor forsake you. He is a loving, compassionate God, who knows that they are not your thoughts and that they don't belong to you. You are not your thoughts and God already knows your repentant heart, and knows everything about you! It is okay that you are not okay! Once we truly know who the Lord is, He will take away our trials or teach us to make us more spiritually stronger in Him. Even if you don't feel like he's there, or if you don't feel Him and He seems distant... He is there! Don't EVER feel afraid, 'For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of Power, and of love, and of a sound mind!' Those thoughts are from the enemy, not from you, and don't give him a foothold in your mind because he is a liar, an accuser, A coward, a thief, a loser and there is NO truth in him!!!! Stay courageous and strong in our Lord, for He is ALWAYS with you!!!!!!! I FEEL that too. I understand that He gave his life for me 2000 years ago, but I don't feel love from Him NOW. a relationship is more than 2000 years ago. It's a need for a friend. Something you feel. When I pray, it's like talking to a wall and I FEEL alone. I tell Him that, but he says nothing.

Wow... Pretty much summed up my "feelings" for over a year now. This video explained just about exactly what I've been going through, including spiritual oppression. At the end of this video I felt a silent "YAHOOOOOOO!!!" inside of me. Haha it's true that we are easily confused when we are disobedient and in sin because it draws us away from God and His presence. Man this was spot on. I'm very grateful that The Lord God Almighty led me to this awesome video. Thanks be to Jesus, and thanks be to this wise man for sharing God's truth and love!

i feel separated from God. i have no motivation to pray anymore, and if i did, when i get on my knees i’d forget what to say and how to say it, as silly as that sounds, and loss motivation. i have no motivation to read either. i’m so lost, i sometimes pray about it because i need God, but because i doubt myself *SO* much, i don’t think i’m worthy of an answer. how do i get rid of this doubt? i am telling you, i have watched so many videos, prayed so many times, commented this so many times. i don’t think i’m going to heaven. 💔

Forgiveness of yourself yes God gave us His only begotten Son to die for a world of lost sinners and when we Believe Receive and Accept Him as our Lord and Savior and know He forgave us then we learn that forgiveness is one of the key answers in our life no matter what has been done to you as an individual He died for all of us and when you are filled with the Holy Spirit you know forgiveness for others and love peace joy and all the Fruits of the Spirit is what you strive to follow daily and always stay positive and full of love no matter what...

I once had (3) people who are dear to me all baptized on the same day. As joyful as I felt I began to feel anxiety. It was as if I heard a whisper saying, “This too shall pass.”, but then these words came to mind, “I’ll follow my orders then as well, no matter how I am feeling.” Good answer, Dr./ Sir. I was compelled to arrive at the same conclusion.

I felt that many times When I read the Old Testament, I often sense the weight of God's wrath. It seems as if God is still angry. However, I recognize that Jesus changed everything already Jesus took God’s wrath for humanity, and the cross is a demonstration of God’s love we are in a loving relationship with God if we accept Jesus' work on the cross. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life John 3:16 He already paid the cost. Now, it’s your job to accept those gifts from Him. God Bless!
