Honestly it was like the time my son discovered if he touched the shelf in the shop as we passed them and he touches me we get shocked. He did it so long that it was such a loud shock when he touched me. He was riding in the cart. He had such a laugh when I jumped away from him everytime he tired again after the loud one. 😂
There is always a "honeymoon" period when the come home from the hospital before they really start to "wake up". I highly suggest you setup a schedule for him now, it will help transition him to sleep thru the night (as soon as he is able). Get his feedings/naps/awake time setup and try to stick to it as much as you can. Keep his "nighttime" dark and quiet, even if he is awake. He will be more settled because there is predictability and you will get to sleep thru the night as soon as he can go that long without eating.
When I got my 70’’ lounge TV, I was like what have I done it seemed hideously big. But soon after it didn’t and I’m so used to it now! The only time I realise it’s big is when I go to someone else’s house and their TV seems small. So 77’’ I can imagine how big it is. But you’ve got a big plain wall that needs it and it won’t seem big when up! Mine is on a sideboard x
@@LifeOfTom Ants!🤣🐜 I wish mine was as thin as yours tho as we’ll hopefully be moving house soon and I’d like it on the wall. I have 3 daughters who are 4, 6 & 9 so it would be safer!x
I got the same TV not too long ago. I love the Always Ready mode. If you wanting to just chill, they have some nice meditation, chill, or other music to listen to.
Dude every one of us crawled under the bed when Lydia dropped the female logic explanation on the spending. It’s like you’ve been listening in to my conversations as well 😅
You just made my day, Gordon is so fucking proud of you mate. You are absolutely killing it. You are gonna be the BEST dad because you have the best dad! Also I got the same tattoo that you have for Ken for my father on my right leg. You've inspired me my whole life! Thank you for everything!
Aveeno is absolutely ace btw mate! Our little one had cradle cap, as well as dry skin when she first came out. Used this for about a week and it cleared it up!
it is what a baby does bugt it is what it is and you little family is so cute and sweet i remember when you told your family you were expecting alfie and ninos reaction was really good.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
the side by side feature on the tv can come in handy if your watching a film but also need to keep an eye on the cctv (or doorbell) or if you have a smart baby camera, it can come in handy sometimes
Really enjoyed you two discussing future plans, that’s exactly how me and the wife talk. Enjoyed the chilled vlog, apart from removing the screen protector before you mounted it, that hurt 😂
You will love the OLED. Had one for 3 years now. Best tv ever had. Perfect for the next gen consoles and watching movies is brilliant. Can’t beat the perfect black levels.
Man I’m so excited to finish this video after work with the fiancé. Love watching the content Tom and love seeing the family!!! Keep up the hard work as a new dad!!!!
I said it before and I'll say it again. You won the jackpot on that jelly. I swear the only thing my parents tell me about when I was a baby is how I couldn't go shopping. I would just cry everywhere.
also might i recommend in the future you could either turn the room downstairs behind the shelving that was meant too be a cinema room into either Alfie's future bedroom or your new stream room
Helvete what a tv you bought. Tip from a pro working with this. Dont leave the tv on when youre not watching, cause not risking OLED get burned in screen. But you bought best tv on the market. Insane tv, have a good one 🎉
Very good choice with the tv Tom, got myself a C3 55inch for the living room last week and it's awesome! Also got the matching Usc9s soundbar and sub, you should have a look at them if you fancy some decent sound with your monster tv
Hi guys and little Alfie ❤... Love the new TV LG great make ..I love my TV s everytime we go to Currys I'm straight over to them 😂 even though our TV is only 2yrs old LG but it's only 55" and just a tiny thicker than the one you have Tom . I can't wait to see the finished look on the next room Alfie's is playroom . The house is looking great now guys ...and Alfie is definitely starting to look like you Tom he is slightly starting to loose his Chinese look ❤
I subscribe an insane amount too Tom. But it’s worth it to be able to watch what we want when we want with no crowds (movie theater) and no commercials!! Lol
Congratulations tom you and lydia and now baby alfie have been a huge part of my life tuning into your gaming videos and watching you new vloga with baby alfie and lydia make me happier than i thought i would be keep up the fantastic content and please never change
I also have an OLED Tom and I couldn’t recommend them enough honestly such a family TV that’s perfect for movie nights and also gaming sessions you won’t be disappointed
I don't pay for any TV subscriptions. I use apps loaded onto my chromecast with Google TV that have all movie and shows for free and then use a RU-vid alternative that skips ads and sponsor segments
Tom, just a quick suggestion re your new tv. Get someone over to set up the color. I did that with my last TV and omg what a difference! It takes about 1hr for a technician to do it for you. In Canada, I used Best Buy Geek Squad!
Just want to say watching your videos for a long time now. Never really comment. But seeing your journey with your baby is making me less nervous as my little boy is due in January. Great content ( especially for new parents to be ) 😂
Big tip with the LG OLED TV's, they have to ship them in energy saving mode. Go into the advanced settings and make sure you turn it off for the best image and brightness. Just search a video because it can be fairly hidden within the settings haha
Smart choice Tom I have a LG 55c1 OLED from 2 years ago best investment I have ever made movies and TV shows look ever so sweeter especially when Dolby vision or HDR kicks in 🤙
One thing that took me months to work out is my kids would also cry when they wanted putting down into their bed instead of being rocked. Newborn phase is fun 🙃
Tom - table foir the living room, try to get something round or soft edges, it isnt in your mind yet but when young Alfredo is running around, jumping off the sofa etc youll be worried about him splitting his head off it constantly
All those subscriptions damnnnn we had Netflix and Sky with sky sports and it was mental like 110 a month ! We totally didn’t get a fire stick and totally didn’t get those apps for €110 a year with all movies sports and live tv, IDEAL
Tom if the TV looks screen looks faulty soon DONT WORRY, just go into LG Care and let it do a self repair. Happened to me the day after I got the TV and I panicked but its normal!
great choice in tv, used to repair tv's, one of the best build quality's. LG oled over any other tv in my opinion (although i dont have one ahah) the picture quality is amazing on these when watching HD/UHD content! best watched in rooms with not alot of light as they arent super bright compared with samsung Qleds, but these LG's have a better picture IMO
@@LifeOfTom yeah, the light thing is more so a thing to consider but not super important, like in a room with lots a light, dark scenes will be hard to make out as easy, but most content should be absolutely fine! Oled are excellent with dark colours due to how they can control each pixel. Samsungs qleds are good for really bright areas, but the darker scenes can look washed out, but Samsungs are pretty much thrown together, everything just clips in, which is great when you’re repairing them, you can have it fixed in 10 minutes aha, but compareed to lg Oleds they have all proper mountings for the internal electronics, all fixed by screws and stuff, it feels like everything was thought out. Also from experience, Samsungs go faulty way more often than LG oleds!
Had to go hospital today I went in one of your hoodies (the tapped hoodie the one I have on in my DP) me and the doctor just sat and talked about the vlogs while I was being seen 🤣 best hospital trip ever
Now if you were in the US at Costco you would be buying the 86 inch TVs like we have, then again the home I grew up in London a large screen TV like your would have filled the wall up!
TAKE THE TV BACK AND GET THE MODEL UP! THE LG G3!!! It’s brighter and is designed to be fitted on the wall. Comes with a wall mount and fits perfectly flush to the wall
I rarely watch TV recently, I pretty much live on RU-vid videos. So I only pay for Prime and that's mainly for the free delivery and prime subs on Twitch 😂 I'm in the process of taking over the house, since my dad got moved into residential care due to Lewy Body Dementia in Feb, and I'm starting to realise how expensive life can be as an adult! It's not fun at all...
