It was fair both ways. Penalties were only given when anything excessive happened. Anything 50/50 was let go, I loved how the game flowed.

All the NRL has to do is allow the same rules to apply to club games. Bit of a joke really.

It could also be said that Ezra Mam had the Churchill medal in the bag with his performance, but that was surpassed by what Cleary did afterwards. I appreciate some of the honesty shown by the Penrith coach and players who acknowledged how hard the game was for them to win and what players gave them grief.

As a Sydney sider I was actually a bit disgusted by the amount of support for the Broncos in the stadium. Tall poppy syndrome? Cleary and Luai being let off suspendable offences in past seasons? Arrogance? Not sure why Sydney didn't get behind them. Does karma exist? Ask Reece Walsh. No he should not be suspended for his "mum" comment but in a week's time the NRL should contact him and tell him he has a suspended fine of $20,000 based on the ugly swearing at referee Butler, the childish refusal to admit he did it, the taunting at Warriors players (OK except the Warriors let him out of his contract) and anything else he has been a $%@% about

The first 40 minutes Panthers were all over them, Broncos defended well, but made 11 mistakes. Panthers made one mistake all game. The Broncs were good for the first 20 of the second half; because of their effort to keep the Panthers out in the first 40, they runout of juice at the very end.

Cleary was great in the last 20 min but he missed 3 tackles that lead to 3 Broncos tries yet the commentary say absolutely nothing. They make me sick especially Andrew Johns and that flog who calls the games on Channel 9. Jerking Cleary off for 80 min and not calling him out when he is at fault when missing tackles

Still has to do it in origins . for 50 minutes he was below average tbh I’d give him a 6 but that last 20-30 minutes he was beyond perfect and won them that game
