Great video, Been working at a auto salvage yard for close to 14 years. We crush on average about 125 cars a week. Always a surprise what gets left in vehicles, as far as blades for the saws Texas super shears makes a great cutter for converters.

You have one of those never-ending jobs Silas. Just when you think youre a bit ahead, tons more cars show up that you have to deal with. What some people dont understand when you crush and scrap apparent stuff others would save is that youre in business to make money so you really are left with few choices. Tough job you have there Buddy

I loved this video. I watched a lot of crushing videos and one idea for the cars and low price is crush and pile them up. I saw one owner he played the metals market and had thousands of crushed cars. I didn't see what happened to the tree trimmings. In California our weather is usually great but we really need your rain. Great video

I hope you don't scrap or crush that Dodge pickup that needed a good cleaning. It look like it's in great shape but with some time, a vacuum cleaner and a little more than usual amount of elbow grease and cleaner I think you would have a really good truck to tool around in. I enjoyed the looking for treasures in the cars as well as the rest of the video. Take care of yourself Silas and I hope you get to do all you need done around your place.

Using that loader, you might have been a surgeon or a dentist. I thought I had seen it all until you put on the sun hat. Now I appreciate your reasoning, but that hat is definitely not a fashion statement! As far as storage goes, would it make sense to crush vehicles and stack them like plates until prices go up?

First thanks for your video's allow's me to see some of the stuff I enjoy without getting dirty. A couple quick questions do you pull back seats and spare tires when processing ? Loved working on the 80's Camaro's you had to pull back seats to change shocks and because of the way they are designed they seemed to always be loaded with change. On your tree problem drill holes on stumps and fill with regular table salt ( it's cheap and kills trees fast.
