The glasses were great! I thought part of the appeal was the rack for them. I know what you mean about eyeing a box. GFS has great boxes. Put a blow mold in a box I eyed but it was a little too short. Had to go back and find the same size box to top off the box. Haven’t sold it yet but now easy to store and easy to ship out.

Hi, funny you sold the glasses in the tote. I was looking at them a few vids ago and i was going to tell you to take them down to your antique booth, glad i didn't. But, you can fill the tote up again with a set of vintage glasses. Love Froggy Flips to, one of the goodies i watch along with commonwealth flipper, Tesla Picker, Craigslist Hunter, Shell.Belle and a few more.

I learned baseball sitting in the old Shea Stadium, watching Tom Seaver and the Mets. We were about seven rows up, just inside first base and it was awesome. No longer a Mets fan, but fond memories.

I have a similar picture of the Big Red Machine except it does not have Sparky Anderson . It has Pete Rose , Johnny Bench ( my favorite of all time ) , Joe Morgan , and Tony Perez . It is autographed and has a separate COA on each autograph . I've had it on my wall since 1995 . I know it's only worth a couple hundred dollars but for me the memories make it priceless .

6:21 That's absolutely unacceptable. You should definitely turn that first guy in for a non-paying bidder strike and then block that user from bidding on any of your other items. There's no reason users should be allowed to jack-up an auction without some penalty. That goes against the whole basis of the eBay system. People who are idiots, by choice, need to be checked.

Yes CPAP machine and supplies are not allowed on ebay. I got one of those emails from ebay just a couple of weeks ago and they took my listing down. I was only selling the clips from the headgear and cushion brackets I guess people use them for crafting or something.

I have tried to sell the empty box for Beats headphones. The bidding got up to $40 and I got a message requesting cancellation because they thought it included the item. The listing title, description and photos said empty box. So that bidder dropped out and the auction went down, but was at $70 at the end. I messaged the buyer to confirm it was box only, and they asked to cancel. I gave up on that item! Usually crafters buy those nice high end boxes and decorate them.

That soto is a prospect card not a rookie. Bowman makes cards before they play in the majors. Rookie card will have a RC logo. The bowman rookie isn't as sought after as the card that has the 1st stamp on the front. That is considered the 1st bowman although some players don't have one.

You really shouldn't use packing tape to close up the cardboard on the cards. Its a real pain to get it back open . Just use painters tape again or glad wrap.

You're not worried about the trading card getting stuck to the painter's tape? I've learned from the recent Pokemon card craze that it's better to put the card into a penny sleeve before you put it into a top loader. It keeps the card from getting scratched by the top loader and it keeps the card from falling out.

If the CPAP accessories don't have the Rx symbol on them you can list them,it's that Rx mark that makes them prescription only.

I've heard other sellers say you shouldn't tape top loaders unless you also have an upside down penny sleeve to make sure the card doesn't stick to tape and damage it... thoughts?

As long as you squeeze the top while applying the painters tape, that shouldn't be a problem as that will prevent the card from moving. But most sellers would still put it in a team bag first. Team bags, penny sleeves, toploaders, etc. used to be not too expensive until a year ago. The pandemic and that ability to get imports from other countries like China, have cause shortages of supplies. So I guess a lot of sellers are having to use their trading card supplies sparingly.

Also, I prefer to use the perfect fit toploader sleeves from Superior Fit Sleeves (Superior Fit Innovations). As they are tighter and clearer than a team bag/sleeve. A little bit more expensive, but so much better than a team bag/sleeve.

Ship them in a small box like 6x4x4, they'll still ship at a cheap first class rate, like $4 or less. Bubble wrap them too. Good luck!

You can buy a bulk pack of white or kraft tissue paper fairly cheaply that works well with a small box too

I believe John used to work in a sporting goods store before he took up reselling. If he had stuck with it, he probably would have been successful and be running at least one store by now, but would most likely be a regional manager. He has what it takes, he just like being his own boss.
