Your character has a swap places skill that costs provisions, you can move past monsters in the way of getting to the altar and didn't have to kill yourself.

This character could not care less about being frozen - with broken star you deal damage as if you were permanently frozen. Frostland is the place to go! Secondly, the relic that gives you provisions when you use a power... leads to so many combos when you have a power for 1 provision! Relics that convert excess provisions to healing/gold/shield are great with it. Thirdly, powers! You have to pick your enemies. If an enemy is not bleeding enough to die in 1 hit, stealth around them until they are, that's what your provisions are for. You did realize how powerful sharp wounds are later on.
