Pizza, you have single handedly restored my faith in Zombies. My tensions are eased after watching this, I’m still a bit nervous about some things but for the most part I’m excited to see where this game goes!
All they had to do was copy bo3 and everyone would've been happy. No sight of what the ui looks like either. Could be a complete mess like every zombies mode after bo3. But as long as i can turn off the floating dmg numbers and health bars
It's insane what this studio can do when they're allowed time to develop the game they want. This sounds incredible. This is the most excited I've been for a new Zombies mode since BO1.
For those sayin to just pick a pistol if you dont like weapon loadouts, you dont get it. The meta will anyways narrow down 2-3 viable weapons that are "the best" to use. So the same thing will happen as in Cold War, I dont have to try 90% of the weapons when I already know which ones are the best. It makes wall weapons useless and also decreases the value of the mystery box
false. regardless of the “meta” it never made starting with a pistol useless. in fact, starting with a pistol in cold war was just as, if not more, viable than starting with an lmg. this is coming from someone who did every easter egg, challenge, and camo in cold war. what you’re saying is objectively wrong.
@@xeno703 I did every Easter egg as well and what you’re saying is not true. Why would I start with a pistol when I can start with a gallo (top 3 weapon of the game). Admit it, you never used 90% of the guns because why would you? There is no incentive or necessity to play with the other guns like there was in the previous games before Cold War
@@sofdrink people will optimize the fun out of the game, a game is poorly designed if one of its main features just ruins the fun of it just to appease camo grinders who don't even play the mode otherwise. A game is not fun when you have to intentionally limit yourself to make it so.
OMG, you can really tell that the Devs and QoL techs at Treyarch actually play their game. Everything that a hardcore player would complain about or a fan would complain about has been addressed in one way or another. This is amazing, first time in a while I think the community as a whole is excited for more zombies content.
My dopamine levels are off the charts. I’m actually excited to see this mesh of black ops zombies there’s so much I can’t even comment it all. 3rd person I’m looking forward to. So much customization
the fact that the community gets to figure out the easter egg without being babied through it like in cold war makes me so happy. Finally the zombies we have been asking for.

@@Ash456. Its not about new players being bad.The armor is just a much simpler method then buidable shield. No one wants to run all over the map for like 5-10 minutes just to find 3 shield pieces that are in the most random of spots. Ontop of that you can only build it at one bench, so depending on where you built it matters alot. Since you could be doing the EE, notice that it broke and then be forced to run half way across the map or the entire way across just to rebuy it. All to then repeat tht ovee n over for as long as you play.
@@iang.2451 three hit deaths aren’t optional and playing mp and having an OP team round one isnt either it just makes the game too easy and casual not to mention now you will be able to get wonder weapons round one back in the day getting some map wonder weapons had challenges to it or steps

my biggest issue is still you HAVE to be online to play. I absolutely hate that. this game NEEDS an offline mode, if not therell come a day when thisll be the first zombies game that you won't be able to play anymore one day once the servers shut down.
The Dc save state thing they have actually may solve thease issues although constant online has issues- especially in Cold War which was the same, I had a couple of DC’s but the save gameplay is a way to solve it.

Would need to play it to give a proper opinion on it, but I’m not that happy. I really miss BO3. Starting with the start pistol was fantastic, it felt like a challenge, it made you earn and enjoy all weapons and wonder weapons in a different way. Building or having to do steps to get a wonder weapon or a support weapon like the bows or the shield from der eisendrache made you invest more time in the game and it rewarded you. Discovering a map without being guided in every step and waiting for videos on what to do for the Easter egg added mystery and exclusivity to the experience. I feel like Treyarch took the option of trying to involve more players into Zombies, betraying the nature and spirit of the game. Nonetheless, I hope that this game will be able to let me feel again that fun and joy of playing zombies with my old team.

This aged like fine wine. Duke Dennis hit round 50 Co-op until his friend left him around round 20, the rest was all him. Hardest to hit round 100? Hmmm, half way through looks like the easiest zombies map I’ve ever seen someone hit round 50 on. Keep in mind he is a casual gamer.
Everything I saw and heard in this video has just made me so much more excited to grind and no life BO6, literally going to no life this game for the next 2/3 years, 100% zombies/multiplayer/campaign! Going to be a good year for CoD I reckon
@@seanstuart5264but you also get one for free almost every round. And you don’t have to spend currency to buy them meaning you can run out. This system is wayyyy better and not predatory to kids either now
Honestly it sounds like all of these things together make you way too powerful (probably to appeal to new players) and I really wouldn’t like that but I’m certainly going to give it an honest try.
@@FerociousPancake888 in black ops 3 you can just get perkaholic at the beginning of the every match and dashboard at the end to keep it. THAT was too powerful. This system is much more balanced and not microtransaction based either

A guided quest option is a fantastic idea. As someone who has been playing zombies since world at war the last main EE I done was origins on BO2. BO3 got too ridiculous and the steps didn't make sense so it's good we get guidance on where to knife a specific rock in the corner of the map 32 times while shooting a specific square pixel at the other end of the map.

The map itself looks amazing, but honestly I'm dissapointed by a lot of additions to bo6 zombies, imo cold war was the worst zombies game, and to hear they're just basically doing that again doesn't get me excited to play this
100% agree. Cold war zombies got more wrong than it did right. Not sure why they chose to use it as some kind of a reference point.. I’m not impressed. Everyone else in the comments appears to be eating it up though. Black ops 1&2 and WAW was their best work. Peak zombies imo. If I were a creative at Treyarch, I’d be using those eras as blueprints for the next one. They got everything right. The maps, the weapons, the cast, all made for a unique experience. It just sounds to me like they’re doing everything they can to avoid building off of Vondeharr and Blundell’s work. Which is f*cked up.
@Thedudemannn right, all the additions in cold war made it feel like a lifeless grind to level up your perks and stuff, plus i couldnt stand the game telling me what to do all the time, I miss the days of old-school challenging zombies where you had to discover things on your own. And as good as this new map looks it lacks so much charm and originality that old maps had

I think they strayed too far from the original zombies and spent all their time trying to make complex Easter eggs when they should’ve been focused on the map design + more wonder weapons. I think Blops 2 had the perfect amount of attention to Easter Eggs. They weren’t so vast they distracted from the actual map, and they weren’t so small that it didn’t make you lose interest in the game itself.
@@warv6552Maybe initially because it was a new game & people wanted something new. Today, almost 5x more people are playing BO3 than Cold War. 10,000 active players on BO3 Steam. Less than 3,000 active players on Cold War Steam. It might have been an initial success, but the previous Black Ops games have been far more successful long term.
@@ThanosShouldSnap That’s purely Steam numbers. CW had a very high casual player base and most casuals play on console. Most bo3 players in the current day play on Steam due to mod support/custom maps. They revealed shortly after the release of Outbreak that Zombies had the highest playercounts out of any point in the franchise, even bo3s peak. The casuals loved that game, even though it performed poorly with the hardcore/RU-vid audience.
I’m actually really hyped , after bo3 zombies went to crap , Cold War had potential but didn’t reach it, im glad they finally understood what the fan base wanted (ish)
I hate that they specifically hid the hud because they know everyone would be dissapointed by the medals, killfeed, and it being the exact same as multiplayer. Very shady.
@@SixArmedPriest they likely won’t let you take certain things off, and is why it was excluded from gameplay. I’d love to be proven wrong because a fair amount of this stuff sounds really cool.

He can say whatever he wants about the game, if it was a paid advertisement it would have to be advertised that’s how those things work. CNP has been pretty reputable throughout the years and the map looks solid so far. Besides he’s just talking about his experience he isn’t gassing it up or nothing

16:19 so all weapons either from the box or wall buys will be personalized like bo3, IW, and bo4 again, so will they keep attachments as well? you said they gave you the option to turn of pap camos, will they give us the option to turn of weapons rarities and use an armory system again?

Very sad to see the “relaxed-zombies player” being catered to constantly with these releases. Since cold war, zombies has been turned from an actual challenging experience, to a soft horror game whose main selling point is “look what you can do in this game that you cant in other zombies games!” Lets’s just be honest…the people who SUCK at zombies love this kind of stuff.
Man I couldn’t agree more. BO1 imo had the best difficulty BO3 has some insta deaths that I didn’t like but as a hardcore player Cold War (although yes I had fun) after a while it’s just wayyy too easy. Either you choose to use guns that don’t do much damage and it takes forever to do anything or you use super op ring of fire with grenade launcher and the game turns into a joke. I don’t like that it is going to be huge. It sounds like Cold War except they didn’t make it any harder. Now we have the sheIld AND gobblegum? Like WTH.
It's not actually being pandered to casuals, it's being pandered to nerds and l0 sers that enjoy doing the same thing over and over again without needing a single neuron to fire to grind rewards like camos.
I’ll as well say that it’s good to be back on your channel. I know from time to time it’s like I come and go but whenever there’s zombies and there’s a new game out, I know I’m gonna be watching your channel for at least a couple months to a year getting all the scoop all the secrets learn how to beat the easter eggs mini bosses and just while I’m playing watching you along as well thank you for your time. Being able to save your round progress is massive for players who don't have time to play zombies as much but wants to go for high round or others. If disconnected from the game, that's fine because the game will put you at the start of a round you left off. It is great for hardware purpose because you don't have to leave your system on for days straight.
