In Canada; skirting boards are called baseboards. We also have quarter round or door stop that sits directly in front. I’m sorry you erased your video. Maybe try to upload them to the cloud. I’m not sure his but I think that’s a solution. That’s a great charity. We have a similar one in Canada. I found out about it when a young man in our community had a reaction at camp (he was a camp councillor)and unfortunately they weren’t able to save him. In Italy they have skirting boards, as your daughter mentioned! They call it battiscopa, which means it protects the walls of being hit with a broom while sweeping 😄

We’re not divorced,our daughters are grown and I think it’s wonderful that they like spending time alone with each of us. People who make everything about them are ridiculous. She “doesn’t understand” because she can’t control your time. Sounds insecure to me. My middle daughter is actually my stepdaughter,I always made sure her and her dad had time alone. Her mother is probably the worst human being ever. Moved away when the daughter was 14. Told her she had her life,and the daughter had hers. 😢. Now that my daughter has children,they’re 7 and soon 10,she wants to play Grandma and my daughter says no. You can visit but you’re not their grandma. (And I say my daughter because she is). She’s seen them 3 times in their lives. I don’t get involved because the daughter told me not everyone is kind and her mother’s abusive behavior hasn’t changed when they talk. It’s very sad. I’ve tried talking to her mother in the past and get nowhere.
Hi Emma, I really feel for you concerning your time with your dad,I definitely agree that time spent with him and that your daughter gets to spend time with him is very important, is your dad different when his partner is around? I know friends who have said their parent is much more mindful of showing affection in front of their new partners, either way it’s not about his partner is it,it’s about you,your daughter and your dad. Your idea of a fiat 500 convoy sounds fun😊 knowing you I’m sure you’ll make it happen if it’s possible😊 I think in the US our skirting boards are their ‘base boards’ I could be wrong but think that’s what I’ve heard them called.
