What a morning and what a great film ..... Glencoe never disappoints does it ! THANKS Murray for being there and capturing this wonderful sunrise....Think this and your Knoydart sunset are my favourites so far.....Plenty more to catch up on !!! 😊😊😊😊 Stay Classy Buachaille !!
Unbelievably fab conditions (despite the extreme cold). I hope you shot every aspect of that view......lights out and have framed some in your living room. Spectacular. I'd have stayed another hour till the fog/cloud dispersed...... shooting that is.........lights out!! .
Thanks Fergus - would've have stayed the whole day but had family commitments on at the weekend I needed to get back to - they were however carried out with abig smile on my face :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
MrDazP1 thanks A it was a perfect morning for landscape photography fun for sure - hoping for similar weather to return to Scotland soon - it’s been a bit wild recently!! Thanks for watching ATB. Murray

Just amazing, thank you for sharing your awesome hikes. Like a few others, eagerly awaiting announcement of a calendar!! Make room on the shelves for the Steaming Boots..lol
Mr D haha Thanks - there seems to be gathering momentum for a 2021 calendar 📆 I may consider if interest is still there next summer 🤔 Thanks for watching ATB Murray
An addiction I fully understand ! What a magnificent views. 'Being away from the clutter' is what mountaineer Simon Yates once said in an interview when they asked him why he did what he did. Thanks for making this film in this icy cold weather !
Hi there, discovered you today and so glad I did. Your camera work certainly does do the mountains justice, a pleasure to watch.. 99.99% of RU-vid videos bore me to death, but your work just draws me in, really makes me feel like I’m there, and as I live in East Anglia my mountain fixes are few and far between. Beautiful work, well done.
Mike Fletcher hi Mike - welcome to the channel - hope you enjoyed the video - it was perfect conditions for a wee bit of Landscape photography fun:) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Very beautiful. I am jealous at your stunning scenery and total serenity. Down here in the south is so much of noise pollution. Also well done with your footage. You keep getting better and better ;)
Absolutely breathtaking. I don't know how you managed to pull yourself away. The timleoses of the fog were magnificent and that sunrise....wow! Im always so impressed with the professionalism of your videos. They're so well shot and edited. Anyway, another cracking video. Thank you so much for sharing all your mountain adventures with us. 😊
Ewan Goes Hiking thanks Ewan - very much appreciated 🙏 it was a pull leaving those views - was an amazing morning on the mountain :) Thanks for watching ATB. M
All that way? At that time in the morning? Tough hike up? Freezing? Worth it?? 100000% worth it. Excellent wee video and stunning vistas. Cheers for taking time to take us along. 👍 👍
Yes my friend, you are truly an Addict, and rightly so, I'd have to say!! I enjoy these videos so much, I cannot climb mountains due to an injury I have in my spine, so I really been living vicariously through these! The scenery is just magnificent and your passion for it shines thru! Thank you and have a wonderful day, crack on bagger! LoL ❤🏴❤🏴❤
Annie Harmon thank you Annie - hope you enjoy my wee adventures - really appreciate your commenting and watching the vlogs - lots more to come in the coming weeks :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Finally... I know how to pronounce The Buachaille. This is what it means to "strike gold". Just fantastic! The first time I saw that view we were coming on the West Highlands Way from Kinlochleven. It opened from behind the crest just as the evening golden hour was starting to take everything over. Marble of the shadows of high clouds and the valley full of golden sunlight, that impossible green of late summer. I almost cried. For real. Took us an hour to get down the hill to the Coe because I just had to stop and look with my open jaw hanging in the wind. :) Great pictures!
its an amazing place , I often find myself standing my my jaw hitting the floor whilst up here!! Take care , stay safe and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Wow! This is what we are all waiting for ;-) So nice to see such a happy Murray! It's worth every failure to get a sunrise like this. Stay safe, best greetings form the foot of the Eiger ;-P
The image/footage captured sitting down with that stunning light coming from the left is absolute perfection! You hit perfect conditions and that hard work payed off ten fold. Outstanding! Thanks for sharing ATB Steve
Thanks Steve - its was a special morning - Glencoe is a great location and to have these conditions was absolutely superb :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
it was a hard decision to head off!! wanted to stay watching the mountains but had to head back home :( it was a fantastic morning :) Thanks for watching AT Murray
Hey man, good day to you! I know this is an older vid, but hell, why wouldn't anyone re-view any of your fabulous pics, moving or otherwise. In the other sense, they ARE moving, totally gorgeous. I thank you from the heart for making these videos. I realise how hard it is to mix mountains and family (which I barely managed back about three decades) and I applaud your efforts, up VERY early sometimes - or very late - and back home almost before you've been missed, such energy you have! But yes, it is an addiction. So much so that I moved to northern Wester Ross a few years ago, just to be near some of my most-loved hills. Assynt only 1.5 hours to the north, Torridon barely to the south, and all the Letterewe and Fisherfield beauties just to my north and east. I endorse your words re-addiction - and what could be a healthier addiction than the hills of the Highlands of Scotland?! I can't so easily get into the hills these days (taking a 3 day/2 night backpack merely to climb one decent-sized hill, arthritis and age being the limiting factor), but I do, after a fashion. This method leaves more time to linger, however. More chance of a cloud inversion, more time to just BE. Keep doing what you're doing, I take my hat off to you (but not my down jacket if it's sub-zero... (-;)~
Superb work. That's a morning you will never forget. I now have my new year's resolution: I will get up early for sunrise. Sunsets very rarely can compete with sunrise.
I think I may agree with you... have seen some smashing sunsets but its the sunrises that always seem to stick in the mind :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Fantastic video, and so glad I found your channel as I’m going to Glen Coe in a couple of weeks for a few days, and want to photograph from that same location! I’m even more excited now about my trip after watching your video! Roll on Jan 21st :-)

Ohhh Murray! 😍 I know you were freezing, but definitely so worth it to bring to us! Your the best! Absolutely lovely..Cheers My Friend from afar..🍺🍺 great share as always, never disappointed..😊😁
I've been traveling this week and only just got the chance to watch this one Murray. What a sensational morning you had there!! The Buachaille looked absolutely magnificent in that light and the inversion just topped it all off. Can't wait to be there next March and fingers crossed we get a morning even half as good as this. Great video once again 👍👍 ATB
Had the pleasure of a wildcamp up there a while back thanks to your inspiration. Fair play Murray, you have a happy knack for the right spot in remarkable conditions. Keep them coming!
Again enjoyed your video Murray again! How lucky you were the morning of this recording and how sorry you had to leave the spot, just when the tops started to color. That must have been a difficult decision. But yes, the images both moving and still, are no less. I am already looking forward to your next video!
Stunning, simply stunning, I have to agree with Nigel a calendar would be awesome, a little bit of home for my wall. Thanks for sharing, Happy St Andrew's day from Canada.
Thanks Mads :) Just watched your first Highlands series from Iceland yesterday - superb stuff :) looking forward to your upcoming vlogs :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Stuart Arnold I did have a foam seat at one point but it was a nightmare every time it was windy - id spend half my time running down the mountain chasing my seat 😂😂😂
Scotland's Mountains Ditched my iPhone and turned the TV on. Still nothing compared to the reality you experienced. Absolutely stunning and worth every ounce of freezingness! Leaving that scene while it was still unfolding must have been agony for your eyes. Family first, after you viewed the images on your PC 🤫
ratsters7 thankyou - it’s hard to make and take bad photographs when the conditions are like this in Glencoe :) the mountain landscape is just sublime 👍 Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Wow, just wow !! Murray , you are a true gentleman - that was just so beautiful. Your filming is crystal clear and every detail is magical. Keep going please, look forward to the next one.
@@ScotlandsMountains It is my new "must watch" channel. Fabulous stuff. Keep on filming. I am getting long in the tooth, but you have inspired me to hope that I might one day bag a Munro or Corbett.
Thanks Brendan, I thought exactly the same when I was on the top above the inversion ... my thoughts were different when I arrived early though - turned out smashing :) Thanks for watching AT B Murray
James R Burns thanks James - absolutely for every 100 rotten days you get one like this - makes all those other outings worth while 😊 Thanks for watching ATB Murray
What wonderful to see the Buachaille Etive Mòr in the mist. For my one of the most stunning place of Scotland. You did the right thing on the right time.
Thanks Jason, yes , the conditions were fabulous :) Glencoe is great in all weathers but this was a special trip and the weather was just perfect for mountain views :) Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Great stuff. Your time lapses were superb. You should definitely put some of your prints up for sale, I think they would do really well. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Dan, Ive been waiting a long time for these conditions and have been up to Glencoe lots when the weather hasnt been so great !!lol i..e ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-LGaSY1dQObs.html !!lol Thanks for watching ATB Murray
