If you only understood how many people in my 10 year career as a paramedic that I picked up who died from riding without a helmet. Including quads. Nope, you do not need to be going fast. Nope, you do not have to be out riding crazy. I am now a PA in the ER. We had a girl of 16 life flighted in last week. She was riding about 10 mph through her yard. One bump threw her off balance, she slid off and hit her head on a tree. She died. 10 mph. It isn't the speed. All you have to do is slide off and hit your head. As a paramedic, I also went to a call where a guy on a motorcycle, was simply sitting at a light. He somehow lost balance, fell over, hit his head just right.. broke his neck. He died. He wasn't even moving. I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer. People have no idea how many people die on bikes and quads.. from simply hitting their head. Many of them would still be alive if they had simply had a helmet on. Everyone always thinks it's the people out being crazy on them who end up hurt or killed. That simply isn't true. They're called brain buckets for a reason. Please do yourself a favor and wear one. Always. It may very well save your life one day. ❤
Thank you for saying all of this! I do not work in the medical field but law enforcement. So many times we see even a simple bike riding accident turn into a life or death situation. Where I live we have a helmet law which does save many lives! But for some reason some choose to chance it & not wear one, no matter what they are driving or riding. I will never forget the fatals I have had to respond to. Those pictures stay in our memory sadly. And the family members left behind is heart breaking…❤
I was going to suggest the helmets too! And life jackets if the little ones are playing right next to the water. It only takes a second and you always want to be able to say that you did everything possible to protect your child! Just b/c you did it as a kid w/out safety gear doesn’t mean your kids lives should be at risk too. You use car seats, this isn’t any different.
I'm from the UK. most of the riders wouldn't dream of riding, hacking or jumping without putting a riding hat on. You can't do cross country without a body protector level 3. Your safety is worth more than the $$$ to purchase a hat. Bad enough if someone was killed. But if you survive with life changing injuries ? The cost and stress? Not worth it.

The flowers reminded me of their miscarried daughter Annabelle before Evy. Not sure why, I think it's because the burial is on Austins parents property. I wonder if they still visit her burial?
They love their grandmother and grandfather! So sweet! I love when my grand comes over she is only 17 months. She is the absolute greatest human on earth! She has her own room here, toys and clothes etc. Austin is such a wonderful husband. Joy omg gunner is soooo you. Absolutely adorable. My favs 💞💖💙💙💙

It is vital for children to witness what a true, healthy & loving relationship is in order for them to choose wisely as adults.
I just love the fact that you all get out in the dirt and have fun as a family. That’s the hat I call all American family. I did that as a child and I did it with my grandkids their parents both worked all the time so I took them out camping and playing in the dirt. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

That is the first time I have ever seen Gunnar not smiling, lol. He’s the happiest baby I have ever seen and so adorable. It’s lovely that you are taking dance lessons. There’s nothing wrong with dancing. Perhaps you can consider enrolling the children in dance lessons one day.
I was 52 before I learned to dance well, and once I learned I went dancing at the least 30 hours a week! I had so much fun and met so many nice people!
Gunnar def has a “Duggar head”. He’s Keeping the tradition going for sure! And he seems like just the happiest baby ever. Glad you got your new special car. Nothing like a smooth riding vehicle. Thinking of the gas guzzling adventures ahead. Lol.. it’s wonderful how you two make special time for each other. That’s so important. That’s something we I didn’t do as my husband snd I were viewing our large family. And I regret it so much. But we’re making up for it now as empty nesters.

I always loved miniature golf but I’m almost 57 & when we used to play they had all the cute windmills & obstacles which made it more fun! We used to always go to Branson & they had tons of themed ones, do they still have them? You should do a video of you guys going & doing the bumper boats & all the fun stuff they have down there! When I was a kid water slides were the big thing & since it’s in the mountains a lot of them were VERY steep, good times!

Get yourself some comfy dancing shoes, girl! It will help you glide better and helps with twists, also better for your posture while dancing. They don't have to be high. An inch heel or little less than an inch heel will make a lot of difference, and they aren't very expensive. ❤
How is it on gas. Never realized you had such a big yard on the side. Can you share how much it costs to buy a vehicle like that outright, do body work, replace airbags etc? But you have to have money upfront to pay for it. No loans. So cool you married I to an outdoorsy family who also owns their own camp.

I’ve been driving my car since 2007 and it has just over 52k. I bought new tires for it, they have just 9k miles on them but they are splitting from age and Discount Tires says tuff. At my age before I purchase anything more than a couple of hundred dollars I have to decide if I’ll get my money’s worth. 😂 And by the way buying a preowned car is way smarter than buying new, which depreciates the moment you drive it off the car lot. Enjoy your car! 😊
I'm glad that you and Austin are taking dance lessons. My parents are advanced dancers. They bought special shoes for their dancing. I'm glad that you guys have date night

When I lived in colorado, one of my favorite things to do was go four-wheeling on the forest trails in the mountains. I moved to Oklahoma a couple of years ago due to lung disease and the elevation in Colorado being incompatible. I may have to come your way to enjoy some 4 Wheeling. I'm so glad y'all had a good time and got a chance to get out in God's creation. I'm a little jealous lol😉 God bless you all!
