The 40 yard Pass from Kiera Walsh to Ella Toone, to lay it at her feet was just sublime and for Ella just to lob the goalkeeper in front of 90,000 was so amazing, to keep her cool and composure. Alessia's back pass to score will remain in folklore football history and Mary Earps stunning saves will always be remembered. Women's football has arrived and I for one, couldn't be more thrilled

Love how intriged Gary and Carrah were for them… I remember Gary speaking after the Euros on another program about how impressed he was with the Lionesses and those last 5/10 minutes of the final where they did a good job of keeping possession up top and in the corners as to not let Germany get that chance to equalize.

@@Isleofskye Well this was the first year women's football was shown on free to air TV and they've already broken all their viewing records and also the attendance record of any male euro final ever. BBC just made a three year contract to show it. So it's growing, there's movement in it and big potential. I understand why he's sceptical but there's momentum right now and it will only become bigger

Although the quality of Ladies Football has increased hugely in the last 20 years. I just don't watch Female Sport. The difference between Men & Women in all sports is vast. However I congratulate them on their success. Well done ladies.
