This kind of feels like cyclic all over again. Challenging legitimate players and seeing them almost match there gameplay. It’s amazing how good these players are.
I feel like this is more like the Noctafly situation because hackers such as Cyclic, Xander, and Andromeda came out and confessed on their own with very little/no suspicion against them. Heck, he could have even disappeared from the game like saRy did, but he kept on hacking until he got caught and was essentially forced into confessing, similarly with what happened to Noctafly.
so technically gd cheaters are still pushing the boundaries of difficulty in the game, by convincing the best legit players that levels that were previously thought to be unapproachable or impossible were, in fact, possible and could be done, which leads to legit players actually beating the levels and challenging the limits of the game. So in a twisted way, cheaters actually inspire people to push the difficulty boundaries of the game

I also said this in fnm04's video, but it's almost uncanny how similar this whole situation is to the Schmooey incident from Clone Hero. They both showed up out of seemingly nowhere, improved at a rate faster than anyone had ever seen before, and became a top player that seemed to surpass everyone else. They both “completed” the hardest thing ever done in the game (in Schmooey’s case it was Spacerace), dwarfing all the previous accomplishments, and they made lots of money and fame in the process. And then it was revealed that not only were their top accomplishments cheated, but almost EVERYTHING was. And when looking back at the actual legit victors, there’s so many things that were missed that could have been at the top of the ranks if it hadn’t been for them.
It's very shocking to see that a journey so incredible from such a skilled player was all fake, yet done so simply. However, you definitely deserve this for what you're capable of and have already done at your age. Congratulations.
The craziest part to me is how he single handedly gaslit the whole community, list mods, best friends, into thinking he was the best player ever for 2 years with no remorse. Any ways hope he pays you back for the robbed verification video and gg I guess.
I remember hearing about slaughterhouse being verified for the first time and never would a possibility that it was a literal fraud come to my mind. The fact that he used such a basic hacking method for so long is insane and how he was never caught.
You’d think that by the 3rd hacked video Space would be caught, especially if he used an age-old hacking trick and not a super sophisticated hacking method he developed and refined ever since he started the game.

Yeah I mean... This whole situation is pretty fucked up. It is true that the community will never be the same after this. Honestly I don't participate a lot in events and stuff in GD (I don't even play it a lot, I just watch a lot of content. My hardest is double dash lmao) but I've always enjoyed GD's world as a whole. In a way, "being there" seconds after the start of the biggest drama in the history of GD was... Shocking. Almost frightening in a way. Let's just hope it doesn't happen again. Have a good one y'all. Ngl, slaughterhouse would be impossible without space uk's lies. Its because the amount of motivation when space uk "verified" slaughter house, gave doggie the motvation to be the "first victor". I am not on space uk's side but, without him, slaughterhouse would take a long time to be verified and it will be called impossible

I still see Space as a chill and nice guy, but like its just annoying. Honestly I think the main reason he did it was just purely that he didn't care about the game and found it funny - which at the end of the day is true; gd is only a game.
People always look at SpaceUK as a fraud and a horrible player, but you have to understand how big his jumps were. Sure he hacked the Golden, but now his 98% run. He jumped from Wasureta to THE GOLDEN 98% THATS FUCKING HUGE.
This was definitely the biggest shock I ever got from a gd scandal. It’s nice to know the truth now but it’s also 2 years of gd history completely altered that we can never get back
I can't imagine the feeling of being robbed of the amazing feeling of beating a level for the first time. I literally can't imagine waking up and realising you were the first you just didn't know that has to feel amazing and yet disappointing you never had the euphoric moment of doing it. I can imagine it feels like being spoiled to an amazing ending to a film. You can still feel how amazing the ending is, but the fact it got spoiled is just bugging you enough to not ruin it but make it feel lesser.
Yesterday I said as a joke that you verified it and literally the day after it was revealed that spaceUK hacked everything. Just used all of my life's luck on this 😭

Like, some random guy tries to take credit for something in such a simple way, nobody questions it, and he almost got away with it. Only difference is that this case is not that funny.

Is that really, did anyone believe the story that someone can have Decode as their first demon and the fifth is The Golden? When I tried to express it, they told me things like envy, or that I was talking nonsense. But it's common sense, I still can't believe how almost everyone in this community believed in a "prodigy" of the game. This doesn't work like that, and time proved me right.
I've seen how much TRUE effort you've put in all your completions, going almost crazy in acheron pushing your limits and resisting till getting ur deserved victory, u've always really deserved this im so happy for u, u such a legend dude

The problem is that the feeling you get in GD during a completion has always to do with the achievement. So if you know you are the first person to beat something then the feeling will be much greater and that's what has been taken from you. It won't ever feel the same afterwards.

i haven't played geometry dash in a while, so I am a bit indifferent, but I was SHOCKED when I heard that spaceuk not only hacked slaughterhouse and his tops, but also basically everything else. but honestly, he brought so much inspiration to the community and new attention that I am not that mad that he cheated anymore. let the verifier titles and awards be redistributed of course, but he even gave back the money that he got from his videos and reuploaded different completions onto his channel. when it comes to cheating scandals in any games, it is very hard to find someone doing something even slightly noble like that. goodbye spaceuk, thank you for your time, i hope you come back legit, AND GG DOGGIE!!! (also, crazy to think that this cheating scandal is even bigger than cyclic lol)
The demonlist should have an of a level with hitboxes on and overlay it to the persons completion, that way if they noclipped they would be caught instantly.
In retrospect, it makes sense. How do you go from Decode, to Windy Landscape, to Leyak, to Wasureta, and then The Golden? How can those just be your first 5 demons? How do you just have a cough for beating Slaughterhouse, one of the hardest levels in the game? It just doesn't add up. Not saying it's not possible to make insane jumps, but the possibility of them happening is extremely low. Hindsight is 20/20, but this is probably going to hurt lot of people.
seeing you come back to slaughterhouse made me very happy but seeing the circumstances put you as the verifier got me jumping out of my chair and i hope nothing but the genuine best for your gd career in the upcoming future 🎉
