Today we become and 2 man Qantas airlines crew for the first time and fly their Boeing B737-800 on the Vatsim network, in msfs also known as Microsoft flight simulator 2020 , this was a difficult flight but it was a lot of fun, epically with our new first officer.

@11:36 in theory it shouldn’t be minimums that you set, it should be MFRA, that would be the minimum flap retraction altitude. You can set it from the EFIS panel and will show a green bar on altitude tape on the climb out to show you are safe from obstacles and begin acceleration/flap retraction! Great video bro!!!!

Use the 737-800 and make sure u have the same settings in the plane before u connect, i do shared flights all the time with my friend we never had an issue we also use vatsim etc

The Boeing 737-800 is my favorite aircraft. The only thing I dislike about it is the disorganized overhead panel. It's a pain trying to find everything on the overhead panel compared to Airbus aircraft, but awesome video as always

11:37 also to set your minimums is through that RADIO/BARO knob. Scroll it to set your minimums; the value appears right under your G/S deviation scale. RADIO minimums are used for CAT III/autoland and BARO minimums are used for normal landings.

i just did my first full flight on vatsim on the busiest day through the busiest airspace without even wanting it, at the end shared cockpit bugged and we had to disconnect on the ils into düsseldorf, were were flying from gatwick to düsseldorf with full atc coverage i was the one monitoring and he was flying, and on the approach he also got lots of things misunderstood and got the approach controller pissed lol
