I Visit York Christmas Market 

This is such a special treat for me Tim. I live with severe mobility and health issues and am unable to travel far so accompanying you on your tours around these festive destinations is an absolute pleasure. Thanks for your balanced opinion on my hometown of Skegness. Much appreciated 💛😊

So looking forward to this Tim I went to York Christmas Markets in November 2017 just 1 month before my Mum passed away in December that year 2017. Will be interesting to see how it's changed since then & the memories it will bring back.

Loved the video - we spent a few days in York last Christmas and had the most magical festive time. The potions cauldron was doing some sort of mulled wine that is the best I’ve tried. Hoping to visit again this year as it’s not far for us.

Commented on your Whitby fish and chips video a few weeks back. In August we were in Yorkshire and absolutely loved York. York Ghost merchants was the only shop I was desperate to go into and it was closed, I was gutted!! no ghost for me :(

Best Christmas market was Lincoln with the highlight been going to a candlight choir in the cathedral. You should visit Chatsworth House in Derbyshire at Christmas. Every year is a different theme. The year I went was a nutcracker theme and a ballerina was dancing around the house. Such effort is put into the decorations and each room has the wow factor.

Definitely a great market, particularly with, as you mentioned, such a wide range of unique items which are available to purchase. Liked the leather mugs and the Christmas jumper decoration. I could imagine a little Thumps wearing it!

Hello Tim, brilliant video,alot of things to buy at the York Christmas market,I do like the shambles there.the digital clocks are really smart.

You should Tim visit with family Stratford upon Avon Magic Alley The all round Christmas decorations shop and the stratford upon Avon Victorian Christmas Market for 2023 Christmas. Plus the Stratford Sweet Shop witch is pretty nice. A walk down by the river is really nice in winter months or summer months too.

Newcastle Christmas Market opens tomorrow Looks amazing Tim The do a amazing kangaroo burger , think they do world food Christmas market 1st then 2 weeks befor Xmas they do the gifts They also do a drinks hub where you can hire them out for a few hours with friends Worth a check out Tim, I'm sure newcastle on your top list 🤔

Thanks for that tim; great video as always. My wife and daughter visited the Christmas market last year. Their only complaint was how busy it was and there was a load of people with placards demonstrating about something which spoiled it a bit. York is great though and has to be in my top 4 UK Cities along with Edinburgh, Durham and Ripon.

I just watched your video about the Frankfurt Market in B'ham before watching this one about York, and you know what? I think I would prefer the Christmas Marekt in York! 😃 But that may have something to do with my love of the city of York. 😉

The leather goblets and beer mugs/steins look like something from mid evil days, something you'd see from in a castle in days of king Arthur and the knights of the round table. Love the Christmas markets

I've been to a lot of places, but never managed to get to York! It looks lovely. Reminds me just a little bit of Canterbury with the Cathedral and cobbled back streets.
