Great tour, Sketchy! I love seeing the spectator and family orientation at the French track, all that kind of thing in America was cost-cut away in favor of gambling interests and graft. I also love seeing young and enthusiastic talent in horses and hope you can be part of a new path. So awesome that you love the excitement and story of the horses instead of just gambling, please keep that truer love!
@@JohnAllenRoyce this is one of the best comments I’ve ever received on my channel thanks a million. As you’ve managed to hit every major thing I wish to express to my audience which is that horse racing isn’t just about placing bets but it’s history and athletes are unlike any other.
Wow ,I lived and breathed racing from grade 7 to 20 years ago . za span of 35 years . Ive been to many tracks ! Longchamps , Chantilly also . Im 62 now . Lost intrest in racing . My favorite is Hialeah ! Saw my first race at Santa Anita in the anouncers booth , with my father and the late Chic Anderson ! Many memories!
The woodbine flick and the guy’s look at 11:35 😭. Great vid, and France really gets it right about it being an outside sport. Every track should have a grassy area with a picnic area. See Laurel park for a track that is all indoors
