I'm sitting back eating my oatmeal ( meant to say porridge) and totally taking in Paige's latest masterpiece. Btw, has anyone else noticed how good the editing is in all Paige's videos including the music. Very Spike Lee ish. Just saying! These videos are so much fun makes me want to visit each and every place. Brighton definitely reminds me of Coney Island, and being a teen going over to Brooklyn in the summer time. Very interesting. And Paige's friend Mrs Monroe from Miami probably know a thing or two about good beach towns. Brighton looks chill and laidback. A must see.

Brighton is not only a great seaside town, it's also very liberal. I think it's one of the few places in the UK governed by the Green Party.

I grew up in a very similar town called Southed-on-Sea, but now I live in South Florida.

Yes Brighton is a lovely place !

Brighton seems to really suit you. I think it has your vibe. Lovely place and very well connected transport wise to London, sussex to Gatwick Airport, Bristol, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. In fact it is known London of the South Coast. It feels like a giant Shorditch to me.

That was a beautiful day out Paige...I went to uni and lived in Brighton for 5 years...I used to have a job that was a 5 minutes walk from the beach, so in the summer I would go and sit on the beach during lunchtimes 😊 - Brighton (and Hove have a lot of Regency architecture...you should check them out next time...

I'm lucky to live only a 45 minute drive from Brighton, so I visit every few weeks. In fact, I was there just last Saturday...love it there! It's so different now from when we used to go there when I was a kid! BTW, there is a sandy beach there, you just have to wait for the tide to go all the way out. 😊 Doesn't look as though you went to the North Laine area (or if you did, you didn't film it!)...in my opinion that's the BEST area of town, filled with great shops, antique and retro places, local crafts, bars, pubs, cafés and restaurants. If you ever go back, you have to go there, it's very close to the station.

I'm so glad that you had a good day in my hometown. I've lived here all my life (fifth generation!) and, when I travelled the world as a young man, never found another place quite like it. The nearest would be San Francisco but much smaller and less dangerous. You'll definitely come back, almost everyone does and I guarantee that, as long as you have money in your pocket, you will never be hungry, thirsty or bored. BTW, nice to know that you're staying at least a couple more years...................................the ancient Englishman.

Fun to go to places like Brighton or Margate, or Blackpool etc, in the North! A really nice place to visit is St Ives in Cornwall or Newquay, also so many quaint little villages in Cornwall like Mousehole. It’s definitely an Airbnb type of place, so lovely! Devon and Bournemouth is also pretty, in fact there are so many lovely beach towns to visit. If you ever go to South Wales, The Gower coast is beautiful and Tenby is worth a visit. X

I’ve been skydiving so yes I love a thrill

During the heatwave I nearly went to the beach...I was too worried to even leave the house to enter the sun....thought I would burst into flames! So glad for the rain inbetween this heat....I managed to get two fans, now I'm alright. Might still do Clacton-on-sea or somewhere....never been to Brighton but there's an easy two train trip from mine....Maybe August bank holiday......but want to go to a music event instead....haven't booked anything yet.

Love the videos. We were in Brighton last month (second time visiting) but you’re right, a day is never enough. Next time I recommend you visit the Sea Life Centre aquarium. It is the oldest in the world & even if you’re not a fan of aquariums it is beautiful inside.

I was just coming here to say try Boho Gelato next time you visit but you beat me to it. If you come back for a weekend and stay near the beach bring ear plugs. Between the seagulls screaming all night, the stag/hen parties and the refuse collection in the early hours of the morning you won't get much sleep. I don't say that to put you off. I used to live near Brighton and it's one of my fave places in the UK but it's a party town and people come to play!

I love Brighton and cannot wait to visit there again. I love hearing your American terms for things like rock. Americans call it Candy rock or Candy canes. We have call these sweets a stick of Rock. You need to visit the Brighton Pavilion and the Brighton Wheel when you go again.

That whole place looks like a vibe/mood! The nerd in me wonders if pebbled beach is natural or man made? Actually seems good for coastal erosion. (I grew up in NOLA. Hurricanes. The storms & drink.). When I do London, may have to think on Brighton if not too far.

Well this video is bringing back memories of my childhood, haven’t been to Brighton beach for years. But I am not a fan of pebbles so prefer Margate or a little further south where there are some beautiful beaches in Somerset Devon and Cornwall or Bournemouth Dorset. But they are more vacation journeys where you would have to stay for a few days. Maybe places for you to explore as we can’t go abroad is much even beaches in Kent are beautiful.

A stick of Brighton rock brings back so many memories of day trips to Brighton and other seaside locations in England. Can't go home without your rock, red candy dummy and a postcard. I think Margate has a sandy beach so maybe you could go there too.

I am a very big roller coaster rider but my boyfriend can’t ride them due to a had injury he had in a car accident a long time back. So if I want to ride any, it’s all by myself.

I am absolutely a Roller Coaster person (my profile image may give that away! lol) I recommend you get to Alton Towers when you are able to, you will love it.

Brighton is so easy to get to from London on the train. You should try some other places with piers a similar distance away, Margate for example where they do have a sandy beach :)
