Odisha is doing great in football development programmes. Today morning I saw a truck with mic and dj announcing for Block level football tournament for all groups. Theya re appealing all villages to participate both male and female and there will be no entry fee and they will provide everything possible. Good steps for grassroots development are taking shape in Odisha

In 2008 i gave my first district U-13 selection game in that ground. That ground was a completed red soil hard ground. It was difficult to play in studs. After so many years, saw that ground in this condition I was absolutely happy. Though i couldnt make fullfill my dreams of playing professional football, because of lack of oppurtunity. Now atleast the youth will have much better oppurtunity.
