5:31 the banner is a protest against the new chairman of the KNVB, Paauw. He's the former chief of the Dutch police and he stated that he wants too ban away fans. All Dutch clubs are collectively demonstrating against his appointment. This guy should never be allowed too be in such a position
I went to school in this stadium, even had a classroom overlooking the awayfans. but were not allowed to be there during the games. 😅 Also worked there as a volunteer for screens - was sat behind those large glass windows in the center (frontside) - lovely small stadium.
Dutch bikes have very practical o-locks under the saddle and most people have them locked up by routine before their second foot hits the ground. It's necessary, but in front ot house that is usually adequate and fixing the bike to something is not necessary.
we just say ons blauw- wit hart ( our blue, white hart ). it is not only our stadium that has a lot of shops and other facility's als a lot more stadium's because it is easier to finance and maintain. by the way i was at the game today, and we all think that jansen should say goodbay
The dutch on the banner is about Paauw in protest of him becoming a leading role in the Dutch fa, He wants to ban awaysupporters in europe and league matches its unbelievable.
paauw trek je conclusie: fanatieke support uitbannen is een illusie = Paauw draws your conclusion: banishing fanatical support is an illusion! Paauw is refering to Frank Paauw the former boss of the Rotterdam and Amsterdam police. He is against away fans because they are supposed dangerous in his eyes. The KNVB (Dutch footbal) wants to make him chair and with that in charge of Dutch football. You might understand why he is disliked by Dutch fans.
can u visit ado den haag maybe also. although they are out of the eredivisie some years, they are doing ok at the moment in the 1st division and might come back to the eredivisie this year (maybe) or next year.
Studied in Zwolle for a couple of years. Lovely city. There are a lot of mid-sized cities in the Netherlands like this that nobody has heard of, that never get any tourists. Deventer, where PEC Zwolle's biggest rivals are based, is another one nearby. I was at De Kuip when Zwolle won the Cup 10 years ago. A friend of mine had won tickets and brought us along. We all support Ajax but that was one awful day. The game was stopped because of Ajax "fans" throwing fireworks at their own goalie. Then after that, Ajax were shellshocked and Zwolle were incisive. Very memorable game and a great success for them to get some silverware and European football.
Amazing to see foreigners always so exciting in our country. 'What is there to complain about?' Yet the people here are the most complaining people you will ever meet.
You should come to the IJsselderby between PEC Zwolle and Go Ahead Eagles next season. I can hook you up with a matchticket and show you some of the pmds and stuff
