This week I'm in Spain! I have been volunteering on a farm in a little town called Letur in Castilla-La-Mancha. I got the job through Worldpackers and in exchange for my volunteer work, I get free food and accommodation. I chose this job because I'd never done anything like it before and I also thought it would be a great opportunity to practice my Spanish.

How do you afford to travel? - I now earn a full time living through creating these RU-vid videos, affiliate links, selling digital products and my clothing line. I used to simply just work any temporary job I could find to save up to travel! I budget the money I earn meticulously to reach my savings goals using www.backpackin...
Is travelling solo safe? - I would argue the answer is almost always yes! As long as you use your common sense and you follow your own government's guidelines about travelling in that country. I have made several videos on backpacking safety on my channel.
Do you have plans to settle down? Yes, I'm currently saving to purchase my first property in the UK and I'd love to have children one day. I doubt I'll ever live a completely 'conventional' lifestyle by society's standards though, as I often have my own preferred way of doing things.

IMO, this is THE way to travel. For a year and a half I traveled through Central and South America doing “WorkAway” (similar to Worldpackers) and what’s funny is when I came to Bolivia to volunteer on a farm, I fell in love with the host and we are now together for over a year hosting people from all over the world to learn all things permaculture. It’s so enriching to see how impacted people are when coming here just as I felt while traveling and volunteering. Happy to finally see you jumping into this way of travel!

Thank you for sharing this. I am planning a long 3 - 6 month adventure for myself. To learn the ways of homesteading, as part of my mission. To be independent for all that is important. As well as spreading knowledge of woodworking blacksmithing so that people may also thrive. And find those that resonate. I found your channel last month when I started planning my backpacking trip starting in Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and ending Greece for the end of September and I am always so eager to watch your videos. I love travelling and volunteering but my period times killing me and it is impossible for me to travel or work like that. This prevents me to do things. Would you recommend anything?🌸💗

Hello. I just found your channel, and this question is one of the things I don't feel comfortable with. The work\tourist visa. In The Bahamas, no money exchanges, but accommodation and meals are compensation; therefore a work visa is required. Any government approvals that you can verify this type of travel is legal?
