Them Carolina Boys are something to be reckoned with...

Those waters are literally perfect for those k9s and Drt baits its not to clear but. Has a tint and just enough current but not too much and plenty of rock which seems to be good for those drt baits due to the way the fish congregate to them for structure and plenty of lay down logs. An it seems the forage those fish are eating is a perfect size match to the k9 or TK with the herring and trout that are there.

That 5 and 6 pounder on day four would’ve just been “decent fish” and tossed back casually on an east Texas body of water for you lol. I see it routinely from you 🥴 which is a compliment. I live 5 minutes from the first lake you fished. 5 years ago you diddnt see anyone down there and fishing was insane. Last 2 years the live bait guides have made it so popular and so pressured went from one or 2 boats on the lake to 20-25 a day.
