Hi gang…back again this week with a request from one of our lovely followers Mick. We covered “ The Bare Necessities “ last week and this one is great to follow straight on from it and both are very audience friendly. It also introduces the kazoo which is a must have for all ukulele players and can be a great addition to many songs….and are simple to play and have fun with….👍☺️🎶

Fun song and great performance. Bright spoy of our Fridays. I once tried the harmonica harness and never made it work. I later tried the kazoo in the harness and seemed easier to just pick-up the kazoo when I needed it and put it down when I didn't. I may go back and try it again. Fun show.

Thanks so much Bob...the harness just let's you continue playing without stopping to pick the kazoo up but it has to be set at the right distance...which can be a bit tricky...but all good fun ....sending you our love and best wishes...👍🙂💕🎶🎵

A fun choice guys - easy chords which work well but you belt it out too which is just as it should be done. Could be a good choice for anyone with grandchildren - I'm warming to it for our group 😄

I'm still strumming and enjoying my ukulele, I am still getting into clawhammer and it's coming together nicely, I will post something when I'm more confident. I haven't joined a club or started anything as I'm so busy running my own business, but it will keep me busy when I retire in 7 years time 👍

I enjoyed your rendition of a favourite of mine (I’ve sung it with a big band and a uke group). I also add in a kazoo ‘instrumental’. A very minor comment - yours felt a teeny bit slow.

Hi Peter...thanks so much for watching and commenting...it's such a fun song to do....regards tempo it's the pace we like to sing it at...but the great thing about doing a cover is you can play as fast or slow as you want...it's your own version of the song....😊👍🎶🎵💕

@@carolemousdell4444 ...be careful with the Aklot...their Ukes are great value for money but they have put the jack in the wrong position on the new acoustic electric tenors which they admit but they won't be able to correct this error till after April....☹️

@@EagleUkes Did they admit if it was an accidental misplacement or a bad design change choice? i think it will be ok w/ the right angle plug on the cable, but I haven't really plugged it in much since I got the new cable to give it a good run through.
