Anything in the surrounding area would be totally annihilated, if not from the kojima particle, but from the shockwaves and the air being displaced from something that big moving that fast. Alternatively, it's cool as fuck so who cares?
which is why i think the trailers for ac4/4a ar like canonically accurate depictions of ac’s in combat operations. as opposed to the super impossibly fast in game speeds yk
Nah, ACs are significantly smaller than modern fighter jets. The shockwave and displaced air would be worse because of the greater frontal area, but when you look at something like a Strike Eagle with a "fuck everything in that grid square" loadout it suddenly doesn't seem so bad.
@@griffinfaulkner3514 fourth generation nexts are double the size of older acs however, being 10 meters tall over the 5 to 6 of old gens. thats like, the size of the strike eagle you mentioned length wise.
@@meidomachine6451 All ACs outside of 5th gen are around 10m tall. Also, when overboosting, the later generation ACs (6th gen especially) tend to lean forward quite a bit, reducing their frontal cross-section significantly.
Yea. AC4/4A was fun but it was also the worst AC game because speed and reflexes was almost the most important thing and your build wasnt that important. On top of that, due to the exaggerated speed, it made the missions and maps all mostly boring since all maps took place in a wide open space to give the Nexts room to QB everywhere and almost all missions could be completed in literally a few seconds 😂 not even joking when I say that the loading screens were longer than some of the missions.
@JupiterxBlues Also it's a small thing but the control scheme was absolute garbage, AC6 is such a good balance of speed, buildcrafting and combat prowess :)
Idk I hope endgame AC6 Sequel is faster then it is, maybe not as fast in PVP or 90% of missions, but like endgame missions involve really high-speed fights in space or something
i'm just glad both exist - i love the insanity of fa's high speed combat, but i also love the gritty nature of 6's more realistic armored cores. if the whole series was just fa's speed, it'd be boring. but it'd also be boring if we only ever went at ac3 speeds.
@@hikarihakai1285uh, no… 6 feels slower than 2, which is slower than pretty much any generation to date. I play a lot of ac2aa, and it’s the faster of 2nd gen. Still makes AC6 feel slow and less responsive movement wise. I can confidently say ACFA is the fastest though 😂
@@AvgGamerGuy15 from what I remember playing 2 feel much slower tbh, 6 only feel slower than the two 4th game for me though that is from purely the boost speed side Boost reaction and maneuver then that is a different story, overall I think the change might just be not what you like, I am a much more casual fan that join late during the 5th gen so I am pretty open to everything
Ah, back in the good ole days… when speed was important, and field repairs were not possible. I do play a lot of Gen 2 and 3, but I also like ACFA for the stupid crap here
@@PainfullySoberAndUnhinged the 4th gen was just especially fast compare to other tbh, and this was For Answer which is faster than normal 4 6 is still faster than 1,2,3 and 5 for the most part
The "x at home" template is used when something is offered as an alternative to an existing or desired product, despite being vastly inferior to the original. Since this is the original, the meme doesn't work; this is already a perfect Overboost.
