This should be kept at the Smithsonian as a historical record for African Americans. These are the songs they sang to the Savior. They were not afraid to worship and has a special authenticity. Our young folks need to understand and appreciate. This song speaks of an biblical inheritance that they had a home on high. Hallelujah. Praise God for Hymn Choir
This is my Home Church and these r not our every Sunday singers. BUT Trust n Believe we DO get down like this any given Sunday. This is the YEAR OF TOTAL PRAISE 2012 @ Mt. Calvary Baptist Church n Gastonia, NC
I love this old saint's spirit, you can feel it and glorify and rejoice along with him! The Lord is so powerful you can feel the connection here on a video!
I have to thank all the brothers and sisters at Hymnchoir and the church they represent for keeping a tiny spark of the Holy Spirit alive. Otherwise, He's been pretty much banished from earth, and that's as scary as it gets.
Don't know if this is in Southern California. I was raised COGIC and never really saw this in church but the significance of the praise is awesome. This is a song of dependence of God for no one wants to die a violent death. My Mom was a young woman when she passed yet she wanted to sleep in Jesus.
my grandma raised me in sc, and i went to church with these songs/know a lot of the people in these videos from home. whenever i need to remember myself/my purpose while out here in cities getting my education, i listen to these videos.
