Does anyone think the owner is doing this cat any favors by letting it freely roam kitchen counters and dining tables at will, which they do. For a video or two, they get a cat learning bad habits which will be hard or worse to break when the YT gig runs its course.
You attribute human behavior to cats. They actually see our homes as their territory and thus they don't understand why you don't let them on the table. If so, it is more of a responsibility to not leave any potential dangerous items laying around. While cats can be trained to some extent, it is nowhere on the level of a dog as cats remain rather independent creatures with their own will and mood.
