Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta on criticism despite taking seven points from Man City, Tottenham and Aston Villa:
"It's part of what we do. I don't want to be on RU-vid because we've been so silly.
"I want to be on RU-vid in May because we've been done the right things, for the right reasons, and lifting what we want to lift.
"To do that, we have to be efficient in what we do. I didn't predict to play 56 minutes with 10 men. Sometimes the opponent is better at something in the game.
"That doesn't mean they are better, it means they are doing better at that specific thing inside one game."

Criticism from people who have done f all in their managerial career. Keane got sacked at ipswich, sunderland. Neville got sacked at valencia in 4 months and was even humiliated by MSN. Basically ex-utd players who have zero tactical understanding of the game are criticizing mikel for employing a low block for 45 min whilst being a man down against the best team in the world. Lmao.

When they were playing, all they did was bully referees, I have seen utd players throw tantrums on the pitch even if 1 decision goes against them. Their entire team surrounded the ref when he decided to award a rightful penalty to the opposition because no ref had the balls to do so before. Keane almost relegated his team during his managerial career. They know f all about tactics.

People don't care how Arsenal play they are using our play style as an excuse to take out their anger and frustration. Alot of them were licking their lips expecting us to lose after Haaland scored and when we went 2-1 up they were fuming. Then when we went a man down they were licking their lips again fully expected City to destroy us and we still almost ended up winning the game and they don't like that. When Odegaard got injured they were excited about Arsenal crumbing and it never happened.

Talk is inevitable. Arsenal just need to weather it. After the Brighton draw, everyone was criticizing..."downfall incoming", "they're cooked" incl Arsenal fans. Three weeks later, they've taken 4/6pts... and people are still noisy abt Arsenal more than any other team that weekend. Head down, keep the squad healthy and get the job done by any means, that's all they can do.

What options did Arteta have? Imagine the criticism if we had played an open game and gotten smashed. The onus was on City to break us down and they failed. I was so proud of the boys for such a valiant effort and that’s due to the mindset that Arteta has brought to the team the last few years.
