Back to the 80’s again with this brilliant song which was Foreigner’s biggest hit and a #1 in many places. It’s a very simple song, and doesn’t need to be overplayed. Although there are a lot of guitars on the original song, it comes across quite nicely on solo piano. I’m playing this as if Foreigner are doing an acoustic set - so there are plenty of ups and downs as I attempt to fill in the big parts of the song. I hope you like it.

I remember this song so well. 17 years old working in my spare time in a shipbuilding company. This song sounding very loud all over the place. It seems like yesterday. Now I am 51 and the memories will never go away. Thanks Neil for bringing me back!

You know, I want to say this. I bought some of your sheet music and I will buy this one, too. But when I play them for the first time on the piano (it doesn't sound perfect the first time) my dad comes to me and suddenly says "I haven't heard this song for ages. when I was younger I heard it all the time when xyz happened. it brings me back." and he starts talking about the past where he was happier. usually, my dad and I don't often talk. he never asks what I am doing and we sometimes have a generational disconnect. My dad never is interested in what I do but when I play your songs he comes and listens, he seems happy and we talk. This is all thanks to you.
