"I want to read books regularly but unable to make it a habit" - Read 1 page of a book daily

Everyone wants to be consistent at reading, but what happens is some days we read lot followed weeks of NOTHING. I give you a very simple rule: "Read at least 1 page of a book every single day".
Most of the time you won't stop at 1 page because books usually have interesting content written by smart writers and the flow of meaning in your mind would want to continue. But even if you read just 1 page, that's okay. If you have read 1 page you're done for the day.
This way you stay in touch with reading. It’s an easy to complete daily task. No load on mind. Also it creates a chain you wouldn't want to break. It will create a habit of reading. You will start enjoying books. By following this simple rule you can end up reading several books every year.
