2:02 remember season 3 and 4? Toga (also Toga-Camie) was able to both bring Deku and Aizawa down simply by reflex and reaction. She is good at that because of her years of living underground as serial killer (which we got a glimpse of at the end of season 2). She can erase her presence the same way I guess the serial killer from the classic novel “the Parfume” can do as well, as they do not have a presence of their own, always depending on others around them. Deku even wrote in his notebook that the kids from Shiketsu must learn how to fight and erase their presence, cause he came to the wrong conclusion. Also Deku was extremely close to that gate and it happend in seconds. So Toga interfering here has been in the making for a while and was heavily foreshadowed in season 3.
And Deku is just a. toga victim and gets easily beat by Toga😍 at his current level (and he isn’t Prime All Might level like what all the Deku fanboys and riders say, as this episode proves because Deku beat by Toga and severely overwhelmed big time because she too strong, fast for him🫤🫤🫤)
@@mrsrich3259 Yall just can’t accept Toga’s feat and keep downscaling & underestimating her. Did you not see when she ran at him with her whips and severely overwhelming him and Deku having to be saved by Uraraka. Did you watch this with your eyes closed???
what didnt make sense to me is that yes he is strong enough to not get pulled by her, and he has reflexes over 5 times mach speed so there's theoretically no way a chord could wrap around his arm AND be pulled by toga even if it took place in only half a second he should be able to react to that and yank her out that portal with a single flex of his arm.
*Out if everything I expected, Toga confessing her love was definitely not one of them. I guess it makes sense for her, but it definitely caught me off guard if I’m being honest*
I can already tell that next episode is about to be some GAS. I do like what was done with Toga this episode though, her genuine feelings of love being intertwined with her violent actions really show you how much she's essentially a victim of her quirk and the way society treated her as a result. Fire reaction, can't wait for next week! 🔥
This episode was definitely preparing us for the upcoming fights like ochako vs toga, dabi and shoto, etc etc... Still waiting for ep 8 "two flashfires"
@@timingplays5753 SPOILER ALERT: yeah ochako will keep fighting even tho she got badly injured, her quirk will awaken and she will finally win this fight with toga sacrificing herself to save ochako
You know, I also got the impression that Deku had enough time to pull away from her just from watching the anime. But then I went back and read that chapter in the manga again and in there it's much more obvious how fast it all happened. There was no time in between him realizing he'd been caught and being pulled through the warpgate. It looks slower here cause they used slo-mo but in reality it didn't matter how strong or fast he was. It happened so fast his brain hardly had a chance to process what was happening. Kacchan didn't even have enough time to finish calling out "Deku!" before they were both warped away.
When it comes to Toga snatching Deku, I think it's because of her equipment compounded with the fact that she doesn't trigger danger sense. In one shot it appears that her cables are propelled by miniature rockets.
This is acceptable but the fight of deku and toga here really questionable.😂. I can't stop thinking bout it. ( Already read the manga long ago, but just finally realized how absurd it is the fight of deku vs toga here 😆. )
@@Moonlight298ergh Yeah, I can understand that. I think it might just be there to push Toga towards using Twice's blood, and to raise tension by being a foil in the hero's plan. Still weird in execution, but at least Ochaco still gets the spotlight. This is still her conflict.
Danger Sense dont work on Toga bc she thinks that harming people is a way to show her 'love' also I hope Bones dont fuck up the Deku's lovers battle and Deku's entrance
agree, i big fan of this series and one of it due to how good the storyline it. But here, it's really not a good writing at all to separate deku from the original plan. Yeah well i can still by pass the reason that deku didn't able to react immediately bcuz of how short the time is and his danger sense didn't trigger, but now i do questioning on this episode fight. Deku vs toga fight situation seem not really logical in next episode, it's make toga hv superior ability in her physical body than deku. Yeah, i understand that her genuine feeling to deku, which her act to make the people she love hurt and bleeding is the way she show her genuine feeling is what make her able to overcome the danger sense, but it's didn't explain her ability to overcome deku at all in term of strength. ( I never ever complain bout MHA but here the plot hole is really too obvious, like i know u guys also can see it , yeah she had the experience as the killer and villain butttt still، it's illogical like even in this scene, toga able to release herself from deku whip ??yeah i accept and understand that she flexible and good agility but strong physical body? Not at all)
@@jasonblack2477 Jason how many times do I have to explain: When Toga runs at him with her whips, he is focusing on fighting but can’t do much because she is too fast and agile for him and overwhelms him *severely* , hitting him multiple times. Toga severely overwhelms Deku, can contend with Deku in hand-to-hand combat, can MATCH HIS SPEED and Deku needed to be saved by Uraraka and can hit him multiple times. Toga severely overwhelms Deku, can contend with Deku in hand-to-hand combat, can match his speed and Deku needed to be saved by Uraraka. Look at his face when he’s being hit and the noises he makes, he’s clearly struggling so bad. Deku is having a hard time and Toga is able to contend with him and MATCH HIS SPEED but Uraraka luckily saves him by tackling Toga away. Though, Uraraka gets owned and stabbed by Toga. Also, Toga was too fast because Ochako already got stabbed, before Deku could restrain her with blackwhip that Toga cuts in a blink of an eye.
@@ThatsTheBruh your not wrong. But guess it could be said the plan could had been compromised. It can be alot of aspects warp gate was closer than we thought knows🤔
Honestly? If her thing was just sucking blood idk... probably. Plenty of people do that in real life with vampire kinks and stuff and that's way less serious than her case of legitimately being that way biologically. Since she can't help it, I could probably put up with that but the stabbing constantly is where I draw the line.
I’m sorry but I’m starting to get so annoyed they spent the first 3 mins rehashing things we’ve already seen this season then the whole toga situation was just absurd on a whole other level Like this is the 7th season and the writers of the anime are still playing games and being childish like come on let’s get to the real fight all the extra nonsense talking makes it feel like a filler episode Also I’m sorry but what happened to deku getting stronger him being flustered by toga at this stage is so lame One one hand your like it’s the 7th season and then on the other hand your like everyone has gotten stronger but deku and him still only being able to use 20 percent is more than annoying It makes you not want to watch anymore as they keep dragging it out and he is so weak
