Shiny hunting in X&Y. I can recall my very first shiny, being Shiny Octillery in Fishing Chain. A decade later, and Im still shiny hunting. The amount of patience, and thrill of the hunt, and rewarding after a long hunt; shiny hunting is pretty fun, granted time consuming~

I’m shiny hunting Finizin a few days ago and I looked up how outbreaks work you get a shiny chance increase I know the max is defeating or catching 60 of the Pokémon in the outbreak. That’s when you have the best odds, you can increase those odds by having the shiny charm in the sandwich like you already said, I came out with six shiny Finizins

What is your fastest wild encounter and/or egg hunt you’ve ever done? Mine was a shiny Beldum in sword in 82 encounters. That was also my first wild encounter hunt in sword lol.

At first, I got all my shinies from Wonder Trade and Ultra Wormhole in my Ultra Moon game. In my old Ultra Sun game my first shiny, was a wormhole Magcargo, who ALMOST sweeped my team, but when I had no choice but to send out the level 2 Ladyba I had there to level up and evolve, it finally decided to stay in the ball, this is honestly the reason I defend shiny Magcargo because people hate it for being pink not silver like Slugma This was not the first shiny I SEEN, the first shiny I saw other than the red garadose was a shiny Furret in my brother's old Heart Gold file My first full odds shiny was a Cutiefly in Sword, I randomly encountered it when looking for raid battles, I accidentally run into an overworld Cutiefly, and it's SHINY, I evolved it into a Ribombee and named it Redbombee Than I did my first shiny hunt, after I had a dream I found a shiny Golurk, so I decided to find it, so I did the murder method on Golett in Sword, I did eventually find it, but it ended up with Klutz, at that point I didn't care though Later I did a hunt for Nickit in Sword, found her, than I turned on Pokemon Let's Go Eevee like 10 minutes afterwards and found a random shiny Psyduck I still haven't found a single shiny outside of wonder trade in my Violet file :(
