0:15 SONICSTA? A loser? Nah, those don’t mix. This game is fire, and as a Classic Sonic fan, it easily cracks my top 5. I like all of the Classic games, and Sonic 3 feels like they took Sonic CD’s exploration and Sonic 2’s speed and just combined them into one, which was just the perfect way to handle this game’s level design. I would highly recommend this game if you’re a Sonic fan, whether you prefer Classic or Modern. You know what they say, “Don’t knock it ‘till ya try it.” If you don’t like it, then it’s fine. However, I would also recommend listening to those who may give you insight into things you may have not even thought about.
I had basically the same experience with the classics. I had only played a little bit of the mobile ports, and was never able to get far in them and didn’t really like them, so for years I just avoided the classics and told myself I didn’t like them. I only really liked the aesthetics. But then I got origins for Christmas so I decided to play them, and while I still despise sonic 1, the other 3 were so good and it just snapped in my mind that I was missing out on these games all these years
WHOA WHOA you are NOT a loser at all. Sonic The Hedgehog 3 is a game that I love and probably my favorite Classic Sonic game. It’s a game that I can replay a lot and I always have fun playing it. The level design is a huge improvement over CD and the boss fights in Sonic 3 are for sure a big improvement over CD’s 2 second boss fights. The zones are very different from the other Classics games and fun to replay. I feel like just never get bored of playing Sonic 3. Just saying you’re not a loser at all just don’t think that way. I’m glad you found Sonic 3! It’s one of my, it not most, favorite Sonic game. The visual story telling, the way act one leads into act 2, the level design, the adventure! 😊
My introduction to the classic sonic gameplay was through his modern counterpart with the Advance games specifically Advance 3 which was my first sonic game. I loved it so much that I went and played the classic sonic games too enjoyed them as well. Now if I were to pick my favorite of the trilogy I go with 3 & knuckles because of the longer levels and more extra content to unlock with getting the super Emeralds. Even so I still go back and play 1 and 2 as well due to them being just as fun as 3 & knuckles.
Sonic CD is my favourite Sonic game, I like the time travel and how uniquely I can use it to earn speed in the zones, I like going after the generators, I like the chaotic special stages, I like the fact it has 2 soundtracks, it’s my favourite game cuz of the exploration, manoeuvrability, and theming, it is a chef’s kiss! But, I do understand why you like Sonic 3&K it always has something going on and does stuff well at a quick pace…it’s just not my favourite personally
Same I don't think there's anything wrong with sonic 3 and I can understand why other people prefer it I just think sonic 2 has better paceing and is easier to get into then 3 a kind of just feel like it's more of a complete package
Bro is finally BASED, LETS GOOOOOO. Fr tho to me Sonic 3&K is one of the top 3 Sonic Games beside Gens and SA2, glad you came out of the losers club and now into the based club, great video aside from all that.
I've played the classics many of times, but they were never my favorite until I played Sonic 3&K on Origins. I even have the Genesis cartridges of the trilogy, including the Sonic and Knuckles cart.
Huh, I love Sonic 3+K but I actually prefer 2 and Mania. 3+K is most people's favorite but usually not by that much lol. I'd definitely recommend giving 2 another shot
This is the part where I go further beyond and say that Sonic 3 is the best Sonic game. Not a top 3 favorite of mine. It just feels better than my favorite, and that's....okay. I still like Advance 3 more. It's a vibe
I personally like all the 2D classic games 1 2 CD 3 Knuckles Mania and Superstars But Sonic 1 and Sonic 3 and knuckles are not in my top 10s all the other classics are but and out my top 10 games of all time only Sonic 2 and Sonic Mania are their Sonic 2 being my favorite game ever
3:48 remember why you saw yourself as a loser? Same can be said here because you aren't playing it the way its intended. You will not enjoy sonic cd if you play it the same way as the other classic sonic games. Its mainly fun if you seek the generators because it is actually a 2d open zone game Its basically the equivalent of getting from one side of the map and to the other side of Mario 64 on every world without actually getting any stars s d judging the game for what it is. You can't really claim sonic cd is not fun without playing the game how youre supposed to. And no going for the time stones via special stage isn't that much better even tho i kinda love it. You NEED to give it one more try but this time taking your time and explore the levels and find the generator. The reason why you didn't enjoy sonic cd is because youre trying to speed blitz through a jungle gym. You'll always be stopped by the level that is designed to take you in all sorts of directions Dont make the same mistake twice

He went from seeing sonic cd as the worst to one of the best games ever. That game is VERY misunderstood. You may be missing out on some very amazing experience afterall
